Nova: Nova was dreading trying out for cheerleading as she went to school. She had a reputation to uphold, but at the same time she didn't know what she would do if she made the squad.

Bartons: They went to the front office. The front desk lady looked surprised, but then remembered all the foster kids. With them the sophomore class doubled. Thirteen kids was lot. "Welcome. Line up. Tell me your name and I'll hand you your classes. It's pretty simple. Morning elective, Core Class, then Afternoon Elective. Because it's the first day you're actually going to go to your core class first."

Evelyn: She went up and got her classes. Jay was right behind her.
