I found my first spoiler stating that Mary Jane is in fact Patty Williams!!!

Would you guys fill some of us in on the history of Patty Williams? TIA

In the early 1980s, Patty fell in love with Jabot heir and playboy, Jack Abbott, much to her parents' disapproval. A jealous Jill Foster then confessed to Patty that she and Jack had been secret lovers. A furious Jack fired Jill from Jabot. Patty then started dating Danny Romalotti in an attempt to forget Jack. Patty eventually broke up with Danny and much to her parents horror, began dating Jack.

Model, Diane Jenkins, had been having an affair with Jack hoping to become Jabot's top model. Then Diane fell hopelessly in love with Jack, and began to delude herself that she would end up Mrs. Jack Abbott. But Jack decided to marry young and innocent Patty in an effort to show his father he'd finally "grown up." Jack was even found in bed with Diane by his sister Ashley when late for his wedding to Patty. Diane and Jack continued their affair even after his marriage, then Diane threatened to tell Patty about it, if she didn't get the top model job at Jabot. So Jack gave her the job for the summer, but by fall, Julia Newman was instead appointed spokesperson for Jabot's new line of products. When a pregnant Patty was prompted by the scheming Jill to visit Jack at his office, she found him making love to Diane. She was so traumatized that she tripped over a plant in the lobby, and later miscarried. After her recovery, Patty told Jack she wanted another baby, and to move out of the Abbott Mansion into their own house. When she later overheard Jack making plans for a vasectomy, and telling Jill he only married her so John would make him president of Jabot, Patty showed up at Jack's office ready to kill herself in front of him. Jack admitted how cruel he had been to her, begged her not to, and to shoot him instead. So she shot Jack three times. The shooting left Jack temporarily paralyzed, but he eventually recovered after surgery. Patty's father Carl was the detective working the case, and was convinced Jill was the shooter. Patty had lost any memory of the shooting or what led to it until Jack and her psychiatrist forced her to remember by re-enacting the shooting. Once she remembered, she left Jack and divorced him.

Patty returned to town about a year later and dated Danny again, but after he agreed to marry his friend Traci who was pregnant by a married man, Patty left town again.

•The fake Aucker tries to strike a deal w/ Victoria using the forgery Daniel gave him. Victoria calls the feds, the real Aucker wants her to meet the fraud and wear a wire so they can catch him
•Daniel tells Phyllis to fight for Nick like Jack fights for Sharon
•Just after screwing Phyllis, Jack moves onto screwing Mary Jane but tells her not to read too much into it
•Adam hides Ash and lies to Nikki. Later Nikki finds out Adam lied to her.
•Ashley confronts Adam, he attempts to convince her that it was all a dream

Next - Adam blackmails the doctor; JT catches Victoria talking to the feds; Mary Jane spies on Phyllis and Jack

That would require that the actor that plays him (Eric Braeden) be capable of it and I'm not sure that he is! Sorry, just my humble opinion but I've never ever seen him do anything else and I can't imagine him having another emotion!

I saw him smile once on an awards show!!

Also, what was he thinking telling Nick he wants him to "save his family"!!! Which family would that be?? The one he had originally with Sharon or the second one with the witchy Phyllis? Victor didn't save his own family.... well, any of them!!!! He had a lot!!

No way!!!!! That stinks. I agree, I don't really care for her and Paul. I figured that Paul would figure out how Victor gave Mary Jane/Patti a new life and be furious for bringing her back to get revenge, Nikki would stick up for Victor for some reason and go running back to him.

Thats a shame that they could not work something out.

This makes me sick. I can't imagine Y&R without Nikki. I understand that times are changing and TPTB have to make cuts, but I can also understand why someone like her would not want to take a huge cut! I know I wouldn't take it well if it was me! They could cut some of the dead weight and concentrate more on the vets instead!

I so agree with you. I just cannot imagine this show without her.

I just watched Friday's show on soapnet, and there was alot going on! Adam's scene (dressed as Sabrina) was so stupid that I understand completely why he left. But I loved the alternating scenes of Jack/Phyllis and Nick/Sharon (especially the close ups of the wedding bands). Mary Jane is a special kind of nut! I couldn't watch any of Nikki's scenes without feeling really sad though

He's very grateful to Y&R.
He wasn't sure when Adam went to prison if he would be back. He was really touched that the fans even wanted Adam back.
He reads the boards (doesn't say which) and sees a lot of fans who want Adam to be more gray or to be redeemed. He says the writers know what they are doing & Adam is going to be "instigating more....drama."
He does worry that Adam will become irredeemable. The challenge as an actor is to make these "deplorable acts" "both interesting and human."
He's just winging playing the blindness. His TV mom won awards for playing a woman who goes blind from retinitis pigmentosa but he hasn't talked to her about how to play blind. He wasn't sure what caused Adam's blindness; he wasn't sure if it was "legitimate, self-induced or the product of some medicine." So he didn't want it to seem too close to the struggle that Hope went through.
Adam still moves around so much that he has to remember "oh yeah, I'm blind." He says it's good in one way because it forces him to listen to more.
On Heather: "I thank God for that aspect of my storyline." Not sure Adam can ever fully forgive Heather for turning him in but he does think that Adam truly loves her. Heather has been the only light in Adam's dark world. "She's probably responsible for me still being on the show!"
On Victor yelling at Adam, "Eric really channels his rage & anger as if it's sincere, Engen laughs. "I don't know whether he's going to hit me or not!"
On Jack: "Adam needs to lay in wait. Revenge is a dish best served cold."
On Adam ever teaming up with Nikki against Victor: He says no. Adam sees Nikki as a mother who would not do that to her children.
