Every morning we are away I wake DH up at stupid o'clock, point him in the direction of the shower, pop him in the car, hit rope-drop and usually by about 11am he realises what park he is in

My ex-DH was a "whatever" person, EVERYTHING was left to me (not just holidays, but we'll not go there )
Current DH-to-be is the opposite, he's happy for me to plan (as he's not quite as much of a Disney head as I am) but we discuss everything. Our itinerary for next year has changed a few times, as there are things that he's just not as keen on, and will tell me so! I have to be careful not to overwhelm him, or do too much too early... That's where the DIS comes in, I get my fix on here!
I think I take the lead, but we do plan together, it's very much a joint thing. And I much prefer that to the "whatever" man!
I agree totally - though replace 'man' for 'woman' of course
I would get so frustrated and annoyed if the only response I ever got was 'whatever', 'do what you want to do' - or any other kop out answer - that I would just give up and not do anything until they could show a little interest.
