You know you're old when.....

You turn on the local classic rock station and they start playing stuff you listened to in high school.

The other night I am driving home from work and turn on 92.5 KZPS, our local classic rock station. They play Guns N Roses and then a Bon Jovi song. Those bands aren't old enough to be considered 'classic' rock are they? Is music from the 80's now 'classic' pop/rock/whatever?

I think I'm gonna go drink some Geritol, rub some Bengay on my joints and lay down. I feel ancient.....

I've heard GnR and Jovi on our classic rock stations. As a 49 yr old, I don' think that's classic rock either.

DH and I were only 22 when DD was born and I used to sing Sweet child of mine to her (GnR) So we don't think its classic rock, we think its a lullaby!

And you're even older when your yelling at the kids, to turn down that noise! and saying things like, "the music today is just screaming, you can't even understand the words!, or how come all they sing about is sex? Just like our parents said to us!

I only graduated HS 7 years ago and he wasn't classic rock then. When did Billy Idol become classic rock?

And FTR, sweet baby James likes punk metal music best it seems. I have a few punk metal songs and older heavy metal ballads in MP3 format on my compy that I listen to a lot and every time I put them on, he stops kicking and settles down like he's listening.
