I am a professor at a University up here in Canada, and in my field, like most, we have a whole set of (often overlapping) acronyms. The DISboards have totally messed up my perception and my functioning professional vocabulary.

I have a restaurant that I frequent every night and the manager is also a Disney nut, who ironically introduced me to the Dis....

We have conversations like; how many days to POR? We tried to book AKL, but no discounts, so we went with CBR. Did you decide to do DDP or OOP? Did you book MNNSHP or are you going to wait till you get to MK? Did you decide to go to BBB?

People look at us like we are from outer space. It is actually kinda fun.
