When we arrived at the airport on Thursday at 6pm, I thought we were doing good being on time and beating traffic.

Well....Our flight was 2 hours late! I freaked out and called Tiffany's and they were already closed. The whole flight I was worried that they were not going to be there and we were going to have to get on Mears or Take a taxi, etc.

But wouldn't you know, Brian was there waiting for us with a Sign still standing there! We were so excited! I couldn't believe my eyes that he was still standing there 2 hours later!

I cannot compliment TTC enough! They went way past great service! I hope everyone uses them!

Are you sure he had been waiting since your scheduled arrival time? I wouldn't think so. Private car drivers always check ahead to get current arrival info.

If drivers hung around airports the way flights are delayed these days, they'd go out of business!

I'm glad it made your day, but that's standard operating procedure.

Either Way, it was well after midnight, and if I were him, I would have been asleep in my bed! But he didn't, I think he took his job very professionally. He could have easily said, "Well their flight was delayed, It's not my fault thier flight was delayed" and taken the night off with his family, but he was there. That is Service if you ask me. Standard Procedure or Not.:D

Brian is my favorite driver.:D We've requested a van this trip and I'll surely miss him as he's a towncar driver. He really enjoys his job and never makes you feel as though a flight delay has put him out. Glad you had a great experience.:sunny:

They picked up our two sons (22 and 19) and a friend of theirs on Mon. "Sam" was, according to our oldest, 'very cool', took them to a 'cheap' grocery store, and got them to Wilderness Lodge. He's going to pick them up Fri. afternoon to get them back to MCO for their return flight, and the boys seemed very happy with the whole arrangement. That's all it takes for me to be very happy as well!!

Standard procedure is to keep checking on the arrival times on incoming flights. I had a job similar to this back in the mid-70's. I worked for the travel department of a large corporation meeting people flying into Logan Int. in Boston. That way you do not have to hang around the airport for hours incuring parking fees.

Thanks for the report. We're using TTC in November for the first time. We're scheduled to arrive at 1:00am, but I've read that our flight is on time only 50% of the time, so I'm expecting to be late. Glad we can count on them being there.

Hope you had a great trip!
