You DON'T want to go swimming????

Its a beautiful day out, a bit cloudy but warm. My 6 y.o. has been bugging me to go swimming for a few weeks now but at varying times one of us was either sick or it was just too cold.

So my DH was taking the 2 y.o. to do the grocery shopping and I am thinking PERFECT time to hit the pool, its so hard with the 2 y.o. out there as he usually wants to come back in within 15 minutes. So I ask my DS if he wants to go swimming and he says NO! He wants to watch Star Wars. "Star Wars we can watch ANY day... it's nice out! Don't you want to go swimming? You have been asking for weeks, its a great day! Let's go to the pool" Nope... he want's to watch Star Wars.

I know it's not the point of your post, but man am I jealous that you can go swimming outdoors today.

I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to torture anyone. I just can't believe he didn't want to go. Just about every day for the last two or three weeks "can we go swimming today?" "no, its too cold / you're sick / I'm sick" and then today we could go, and nope, its all about the Star Wars. Kids...sigh.

It's like 12 degrees here. I am a bit jealous that you can even consider going swimming!!!!!!!
