The DIS is really ticking me off. I responded yesterday while on the train going home from Iphone and it didn't post.

Congrats on the trip in May...that is so exciting.

I love your excitement as you approach the MK signs and your excitement in arriving at the CSR. I'm so glad you liked CSR. I can't wait to hear about the magical CM.

Tell your dad that I, at the ripe old age of 54, still scream or even get teary-eyed when I approach the DW sign.

I'm sorry I was behind in responding. My boss and his wife were in the hospital (I've been with them 37+ years) and my newly engaged son and his fiance were in town. And now I leave for Florida on Saturday for nine days, but I hope to do some DIS time while I am there.

I have to agree... the DIS has been acting up. I did an update last night. It said that it was posted.... well, apparently it didn't. I will redo this update soon.

I can't wait until May! This was my first time at CSR (or at first time that I have gone when I was old enough to remember ) and I loved it. I LOVE that Disney is magical for all ages and it will NEVER go out of style!

I am sorry to hear about your boss and his wife. I hope they are doing well! And I hope you enjoyed spending time with your son and his fiance (congrats on their engagement!.. thats exciting!) Enjoy Florida and I promise to do an update soon (hopefully the Dis will cooperate this time around!)​

Exactly.... I'm so glad it is not just me! I always ask my Dad "How can you not love Disney?!?! It is the happiest place on Earth!!". Whenever I say this to him he just rolls his eyes like he is the teenager in the family and doesn't want to listen to me. This is why he will be forever known as Grumpy! I can't really complain though.... he still takes us to Disney!

I really loved CSR! When my dad heard that that was where I was staying for part of the trip, he was a little hesitant. Last time we stayed there, (late 90s... I had to younger than 7... therefore, I don't really remember it very well) my dad didn't like the rooms (it was way before they did the refurb) and thought it was too spread out. However, after staying there, I am going to have to convince him to try it again because I really liked it! ​

Hey everyone! I am sorry for my lack of updates recently but I have been crazy busy at school. With the semester winding down there is SO much to do but the good thing is I am coming home in 15 days and the following day I'm going to Disney World. Considering the fact that I will be at Disney World again very soon, I probably should get this show on the road!

We finally arrived at the Coronado Springs. We pulled up and the lovely CMs took my luggage and we went into the lobby to check-in. And I took pictures on the way!











As you can see the lobby was not very busy. We got to CSR at about 9:15am. I headed to check-in while Dad went to the bathroom. This was the first time that I checked in by myself but I knew the drill. The CMs' name was Angelica and she was very sweet. Check-in was easy but the room wasn't ready which was fine since I wanted to get the parks!

As I was walking away from the check- in area, a woman and her family came up to me and handed me a voucher for a champagne toast and appetizers. They left before I could actually see what the voucher was for. It was very sweet of them but I'm not 21 so that doesn't really work out well but more about that later! By that time my Dad got back and got a good chuckle about the voucher. Then we said our goodbyes as I wouldn't be seeing him for about a month. Bye Dad!

I headed out to the bus stop and waited for the bus to get there.

Literally, there were multiple buses for every park other than the one I was going to. There were probably 2-3 DTD buses, 2 MK, 2 AK, and 1 Epcot. It took about 20 or so minutes for the bus to get there but I was finally on my way! This was the longest wait we had for a bus while at the CSR so it wasn't THAT bad.

Hopefully this will give you a hint as to where I was going. ( I kinda already gave it away!)



Yes, I was heading to HS!

I went through baggage check and then heading to will call to pick up my tickets!

There were probably 2 families ahead of me. I made to the front and showed the CM my ticket voucher (I got my tickets through AAA). She asked for my ID, which I gave to her, and then she said that she would be right back. When she got back she handed me a birthday pin and said that I'm in Disney so I need to celebrate! She was very kind. My birthday was a little more than 1 week before I was there so I would have to agree with the CM! haha...

It was finally time to go into the park!



I made it into the park by 10:20 which I thought was pretty good!

Hello everyone! I was just watching some tv tonight and guess what commercial came on........ the Disney commercial! I see this commercial all the time and it makes me SO very happy. Here is the commercial and the Disney version of the music video by OneRepublic. Disney is just so magical. It doesn't matter whether I am having a good day or a bad one, whenever I see this commercial or anything Disney I can't help but become happy and smile! You don't even have to be inside of the parks to feel the magic (but I definitely prefer it! )

Anyways, I have crazier news to share! My aunt just flew in to visit me at college (she was here for business but decided to visit as well!) tonight and my mom surprised me as well and flew in! We had a great dinner! I was saying how excited I was to go to Disney and then my mom and aunt told me some crazy info. My mom made a comment about how nice it would have been to go to Disney if Alan Menken was in the family. WHAT?!?

Now, for those who don't know, Alan Menken is an Academy award winning composer and wrote the music for Disney movies like The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast which are two of my favorite Disney movies of all time.

Alan grew up in New Rochelle, NY (same town as my mom and aunt), lived right across the street from my mom and aunt, went to the same high school as them, AND dated my aunt for 4 years! They were apparently pretty serious but it obviously didn't work out. This was WAY before he began his famous and amazing career.

How cool would that have been if they actually would have gotten married and he was my uncle! That would have been so cool going to Disney with him! When they told me I couldn't believe it. My jaw literally dropped. Well, even it if he is never going to be my uncle, I will still love the music he created and dream of what if! I can still dream can't I!

Anyways, my life is a little crazy right now with finals and term projects/ papers but another update will be coming your way shortly! Thank you all so much for reading along! It is very encouraging and I love to hear from you all! ​

Hey! I randomly just found your TR today and I am loving it! Your puppy is BEYOND adorable! And we seem to have a lot in common! Panera is pretty much my favorite and Friends is my favorite show EVER (I have all 10 seasons on DVD hahahha) AND I LOVE Vera Bradley! Oh and then there's the whole Disney thing.

SO exciting that you're going back and staying at the Contemporary! And DANG that's soon!!! That's awesome! I'm staying at Bay Lake Tower for the first time this summer (it's almost the Contemporary, right?! ) AND I CANNOT WAIT!!

I hope you had a great time in Florida! I haven't stayed at a mod in years... once I was 8 yrs old or so we switched to deluxe. However, I really loved CSR. I'm definitely going to try to convince my parents to at least try it for a split stay. I can't wait to share more! Stay tuned! ​

Hi everyone! I am sorry for my lack of updates.... I didn't forget about you!

I can't believe that I am leaving for Disney (and Universal!) tomorrow!!!!! I AM BEYOND EXCITED!!!

I just got back to the Sunshine State last night at 8pm from college. Its nice to be home. Today has been crazy busy getting ready for this trip!

Today we took Chloe to a dog park to let her run around and play with other dogs but this didn't go so well.

Chloe is still a puppy and is relatively small (20 lb right now but is still growing!). There was a German Shepherd that got there after we did. They were getting along just fine at first... Chloe was minding her own business. All of the sudden, the German Shepherd started attacking Chloe. No joke.

He tackled Chloe to the ground. Chloe managed to get up and started to run to us. The German Shepherd caught up to her again. This time he tackled her and bit her in her on the side of her stomach.

While this was happening the owner of the German Shepherd was ignoring the entire thing and my mom and I were trying to get the German Shepherd away from her. It all happened so fast.

Once it happened, my mom and I were freaking out beyond belief! Our poor puppy was hurt. Chloe wouldn't stop crying.

We immediately got into the car and went to the animal hospital. Right now we are in the hospital waiting for the doctor/ vet to let us what is wrong. We are crossing our fingers that everything will be fine.

Anyways, I'm going to take my computer with me on the trip so I will do an update if I have any free time! If all goes well with Chloe and getting ready for the trip, I may be able to do one tonight! I just wanted to let you know that I didn't forget about all of you!
