You Are Not The First To Pass This Way: 2nd Magic Baltic Cruise, 6/24/2010

If necessary, you will be able to exchange currency on the ship (although from what I understand they will charge a fee, probably a higher one than would be paid elsewhere)

this is the final list. I put them in order so you should be able to go right in order. If there are any changes let me know. If they are before I leave I will post. I will have copies for everyone at the meet. If anyone isn't able to make the meet, I will put the extra lists in the bottom pocket of our FE room 6634. You can come by to get it if you need.
Any questions just let me know.

Will next Friday just get here already!!! :rotfl:

The final FE list makes it seem right around the corner. Thank you to Kellie for handling it and keeping it so organized. We are planning to arrive at the terminal around 10:30 or so. Looking forward to the mini-Meet and finally putting faces to names. Happy packing!

I completely agree! Thanks so much for doing this Kellie. Every day this cruise is becoming that much more real. The posts from the people arriving in London for the first cruise are great to read, and I'm hoping we can learn a lot about what it's like from their posts and bloggings over the next few weeks. We will all try to be at the meet, assuming our jet lag has not gotten the better of us!

wow. it's comming soon!

Today was the last day of school in our area, YEA! No more homework/projects/etc to worry about!!!

Looks like 15 cabins participating?

is there a thread discussing expected weather conditions?

Does anyone know about dinner rotations? In particular, how many formal/semi-formal, casual nights there are?

Thanks

Been off the board for a while. Need to catch up!

Ray

Do you think Disney will give people with private tours in St. Petersburg a hard time getting off the ship? I've read on Cruise Critic about other cruiselines not letting people with private tours get off before or with the ships shore excursions.

On the Med cruise, we had no problem getting off in Rome for our private tour. I hope Disney is reasonable in this regard.

I hope they are good with this as well. I don't see what they have to gain by being difficult as most of us are probably repeaters...

One formal, the 2nd night. One semi-formal, I think during another at sea day. On Villians night, you can dress up too. There is a pirate night. 3 rotational dinners, 1 welcome aboard and 1 until we meet again dinner. There's a Taste of Scandinavia night and, I think, a Russia night on one of the 2 St. Pete evenings. And I think there's a Captain's Gala menu, or some such. That adds up to 12, right?

Wow what a quiet week!

Drempt last night that I forgot all of my FE gifts at home.:scared1: Everyone was delivering them and I would have to tell them I didn't have anything and forgot them at home.. then I started collecting addresses so I could mail them when we got home!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

by the way anyone else want to send me their last name to personalize their goodie? Still have time...:surfweb:

I went and put ones I have finished in the packing pile so hopefully they won't get forgotten.. :rotfl2:

We leave in 3 weeks for Paris! I am so ready for this trip to begin.. The planning has gone on for long enough!!
Now I am just imagining what I will do on the ship on our 4 at sea days:banana::banana: No plans ... just want to enjoy the Magic pixiedust::
It's nice to be able to spend time in Paris. We have friends that are spending a month in France visiting relatives this summer.

We're going to be in London for a few days before and a few after. Looking forward to the whole trip. Everyone is excited!

Just read on another board that they are going to have a Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique on our cruise. Anyone else hear this?

Guests onboard a Disney Magic® Baltic itinerary, departing between June 12 and July 30, 2010, will have the opportunity to take part in a limited test involving the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique product. Guests on these sailings will be able to purchase the “Coach Package” for children ages 3 and older. This new amenity is in the process of being added to the Disney Cruise Line® Web site. Once available for purchase, it will be located under the pre-purchased onboard merchandise section of the Dover amenities tab. The cost for the “Coach Package” is $49.95, plus a $1 service fee.

Sure would be cool!

Just checked the gifts and amenities and sure enough it is there!

Sorry I should have taken the asterics out. They were for my reference of who requested that time. so if I need to change someone it wouldn't be the ones who requested... the extra room is a cabin who signed up after the close date so if you have any extras you can send their way. Didn't want to stress anyone out trying to come up with another set if they were done. :thumbsup2

This may be because my DDs are older, but what is a Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique?
I really wasn't sure myself I looked it up. It is a hair and glittery makeup service for kids over 3. Katie is probably too old but a couple of years ago she would have loved it!

I agree. Kellie thank you so much for getting us organized. :worship: Looking forward to meeting everyone on the ship.

We are leaving on June 19th. Can't believe that is a week from tomorrow. I have a feeling this is going to be a very busy weekend, trying to run around making sure I have everything I need. I am sure I will not actually get the packing done this weekend, but hopefully I will make a good dent in it. Hopefully I can avoid having to stay up all night next Friday trying to finish up.

We're next!!

I'm imagining the June 12th cruisers are boarding and heading off to lunch. How exciting!!

Leaving in 11 days. I'm beyond excited.:banana::yay::yay:

Check out the Live from Dover thread with amazing pictures of the Magic docked there and the white cliffs and everything. So exciting!!!!!!! I'm very keyed up this morning thinking about it!:cool1::cool1:

Cindy, I was just looking at that thread. Those photos really got me even more excited, if that's even possible. I soooo can't wait until I see all that up close and personal!!

I KNOW, RIGHT??????:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

It just is starting to feel so real now. If people post live from the first Baltic, we will probably almost jump out of our skin between now and the 24th!!!

Curious if anyone knows if cat 1 was booked for this sailing.....we are in cat 2 but have been waitlisted for cat 1 forever.....?

Curious if anyone knows if cat 1 was booked for this sailing.....we are in cat 2 but have been waitlisted for cat 1 forever.....?

When we booked a couple weeks ago, all the suites were sold out :( But anything can change so wishing you some pixie dust to get your cat 1.

In case you didn't know for our MED cruise in May, concierge was loaning out IPODS to suite guests and they were so handy on excursions. Preloaded with all kinds of kids shows and music and info about all the ports. We had one per person for the cruise and was wonderful on bus/car/train rides. Kept the kids very happy! They DID not have very nice earphones though, so if you aren't already brining some of your own, just an FYI. Hopefully they will have them for you for the Baltic.
