I just booked a rook only today, and was told that I
can't pay for the room before time, she said it is something new, has anyone else heard of this, I alway pay before going, I use my Visa Disney card this way
I can get more points to spend on vacation, do you think that could be the reason??

Did you book online? I heard somewhere that if you book online you can't pay additionally before the actual trip, but I thought you were still able to pay if you booked by phone.

I doubt credit card rewards have anything to do with it. Almost every CC has some sort of rewards, and has for some time. If anything, it's a new silly computer system they have.

I just booked at P.O.R. today and asked about paying early. He said that I could just call and pay at any time so I don't know why you are hearing otherwise.

I booked mine by phone last month for our trip in April and the balance is due before my trip.

I paid for the first night when I booked in January...he said I could pay for the rest at any time.

Maybe she did'nt know what she was talking about, but she did say that she too liked paying before time,

I have two seperate ressies for my trip next week. The night at AKL is paid off because it was one night thus the one night eposit thus that ressie is paid in full. I paid my deposit on the BWI and was told by a CM I could pay the balance when I arrive or any time before hand...

I have a "room-only" at Fort Wilderness (campsite) and have been paying a night at a time, since my initial one night's deposit. Does anyone else know if this IS something new?...or maybe the CM that took the reservation for the OP was confusing it with a package reservation?

We just made reservations for the CR and paid in full with no problem.Plus our trip isn't until New Years Eve. I'd definately call back and speak to another cast member.

I have been making monthly payments for my September ressie at BWI and have had no problems. My travel agent actually deals with Disney, but I see the charges on my credit card statement.
