I just wanted to share these photos that I took with my phone. This was taken earlier this week during the Sasafraz fire. It was taken from my office and I went home smelling like smoke. It was quite a sight to behold. These firefighters are very brave men. Thank God everyone got out safe. This is as close as I ever want to get to a fire.

I went to sassafraz once when DH and I first got married and it was lovely. I do hope that they re-build.

Two weeks ago, DH and I walked by there and discussed going in for dinner sometime... surely enough, the next week it burns down. How strange? I hope they rebuild too. They have an excellent reputation.

I've eaten there several times and hosted a luncheon there once many years ago.

I actually had dinner there this summer with an old friend and hadn't been there for over 5 years.

The food was fantastic.
