Eh, you get used to it. That food looks so good...

Nothing beats disney food!

I think it's so cute how close you are to your Gma and it seems that Brittany is too!

I love her so much! I think her moving in with us when I was little helped with our special bond.

Hi Sam! I am so happy to see this report. I was reading your last one when it started but somehow didn't read it for a long time until I found it again a couple weeks ago. I read it so quickly and then went back and read your sister's old reports too. I LOVE THE WAY YOU GUYS DO DISNEY. You guys are so funny! I seriously never read TRs that much anymore but yours are addicting and got me even more excited for my upcoming trip which I didn't think was possible. (: That time you guys went to Fort Wilderness for the campfire totally reminded me of how much I want to go there, so I added it to our trip & I'm going there in a couple weeks. SO EXCITED!

Brittany's shoes are AMAZING. You are ridiculously talented.

The food looks SO GOOD. F&W is one of my favorite things in all of Disney and I can't wait to be there again!! :hyper:

p.s. I hope we will be seeing some "Be that statue" pics hahaha

WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME!
Thank you so much for joining us, I know what you mean with not reading TR much anymore. That use to be my life, not now so much. Going to fort wilderness makes me soooo happy! The campfire is by far one of those little hidden gems of mine. I mean you eat smores, dance with chip and dale and watch a disney movie. Perfection!
Thank you so much! They are one of my favorite shoes I have painted so far.
I wish I had money to purchase a lot more of the food because there was so much food!

I'm here! All of your snacks from the Food & Wine Festival look incredible! Yum Yum!

WELCOME ALONG!!!!
I wish I could be eating all the food around the showcase right now!

It was definitely a big crowd this time around.
Well thank you for following along and I can't wait to get this TR running.

So much delicious food!!! Definitely a great start to a food and wine adventure!

Although it was crowded because it was the first weekend for it, it was worth it. We were able to get everything we wanted so that is always good.

How did this report get to page three? Eagerly awaiting your next update.

Just went M.I.A for a little bit. Just trying to get everyones photos as well as make a video. But I am back!

Come To Club 'Merica!
Club Merica is a hidden club located in the American Adventure Pavilion. This club is for classy people who are a chase card holder. Its actually called the Chase Lounge but we like to refer to it as the secret club known as Club Merica. Ma told me a day before the trip about this club and said we should check it out since her and Gma are both chase card holders. So we got in the line and it took forever! They only let a certain amount of people in at a time.

Like I said before only classy people are allowed in&
This is what classy looks like

We waited maybe 15-20 minutes and got closer to the front

Soon we were let in! Come to Club Merica with us!

Club Merica had a lot of stairs to climb but we finally made it!

So what does this club have to offer? Good question!
They had free refreshments and by that they had that wonderful pop machine where you mix your pop with different flavors. That was a winner for everyone in our party.

In the refreshment room they had a couple of round tables set up to sit at as well as a bar to purchase drinks and a coffee table.
Gma enjoyed her free refreshments.

Down the hallway was another area that offered some seating, phone charging station with chargers, 2 TVs that were showing Disney World videos that would make me want to cry if I wasnt actually there, and some games.
So we put our phones on charge and Pa really wanted to play trouble, which happened to be the stitch version.

Little touches in Club Merica

After our nice little rest in the club it was time for us to leave. It was a nice little thing to add to the new things we have done in Disney.

Once we left we hit that wall of humidity and walked back around the showcase towards Norway. But before we could do that Gma had to find her scooter& photo shoot time

Brittany

Brittany, Alicia

Brittany, Alicia, Andy

Once Gma found her scooter we made our way to Norway. It was a nice walk back, even though the crowds were bad and we were split up. We finally made it to our location and while we got in lone for the Maelstrom Gma was nowhere to be found (but she wasnt lost!) I went to search for her and saw her driving. She parked and we had to be those people who hopped the line.

Disney CMs love Brittany they always seem to give her the important job of tracking the time.

The Maelstrom was quite the popular attraction today!

While in line kiss some how lost his contact and decided to tell us after we started walking through the line. So the Maelstrom line is now home of KCs contact.
Once we got through the twist and turns of the line we were finally boarding into our boat.

We couldnt contain our excitement

Now while taking our adventure through Norway my mother thought it would be a great idea to take a flash picture. But dont worry all her children yelled at her. And because of this one mistake we were thrown over the falls

Luckily we made it through alive!
While we got off the ride the spirit of Norway was playing! Yes that is right it was showing and I was sooooo EXCITED! On rare occasions you can find it showing and today was one of those days. Unfortunately my excitement made me leave without watching it.

While walking through the gift shop I noticed they did a little rearranging and Laila was in the first room. (My thinking is to make way for the new meet and greet spot for Anna & Elsa) But whatever the case may be I bathed in the laila products&haters gonna hate.

Afterwards we walked outside and met up with the newlyweds. Off to Mexico we go!

great update. me and maw are both chase card holders, but i totally forgot about the lounge. i had read about it before we left, but i reckon in my excitement at being "home" it didn't enter the ole noodle. of course me not being "classy", they probably wouldn't have let this alabama redneck in anyway. but glad you folks enjoyed it. i rode maelstrom 4 times and watched the spirit of norway twice. shame on you for not watching it at least once. and you say you love norway! may your laila smell like a trolls poot. a little viking humor. patiently awaiting brittany's plankng photos.

The Chase lounge looks awesome! Free soda is always a plus for me and America is like the perfect place halfway through the WS (in my opinion!) that you start dragging and need a break. The board games are a cute touch too! And the charging stations! How clever!

Oh no you missed a pretty classy place. It was nice for the free refreshments. I am sad to say that I only rode maelstrom once. One day I will watch the spirit of norway, it will happen! Probably when I'm there for a longer period of time.

It was so nice and I'm glad we knew about it in advance. I agree it is always nice one a hot day to go inside for some AC. But sometimes on hot days I don't make it passed America....whoops! The charging station was so nice I thought you would need to bring your own cord but they had some there.

Yay I am in! I didn't think you were doing this one, can't wait for the updates

WELCOME!
It wasn't in the plans for me to do this TR but our plans changed right when we started the trip.

Great update! Thanks for taking us inside Club Merica!

Thank you! I hope you enjoyed Club 'Merica!

Boo to you and you and you and you...HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
I hope you all enjoy your halloween night, I will be spending my night wishing I was at MNSSHP :rotfl:
HAPPY HALLOWISHES EVERYONE!!!!!! :hmghost:

Welcome To Our Family Time

Once we met up with the Newlyweds& Alicia, Andy, Brittany and myself ran over to Mexico so we could take Alicia and Andys traditional photo in front of the mexico pavilion.

Diva&

Once we were done with the quick little photo shoot our family had made their way over to Mexico

Time for some three caballeros! Unlike the Maelstrom there was NO line at all. So it was like hurry jump in a row because your boat is sailing away!

While floating by the temple and San Angel we may have called out for people to throw us THEM CHIIIIIIIIPS. Unfortunately no one ever does.

After our ride through Mexico we had a little over an hour before we had to go for our dinner. So before we split up from Danielle and Adam we took a nice group photo.

Welcome to our family time
Welcome to our brotherly
This is our festival
you know and best of all
We're here to share it all

We said goodbye to Danielle and Adam because they were eating dinner at Canada that night. So we headed towards test track and before we even left the Mexico pavilion a lady stopped me and told me that she never saw my button before. When I turned around I realized that she was talking to me and I told her that I made them. She asked if she could take a photo and then she literally ran away with her tripod. During this moment Brittany and Alish starting saying that it was just like the March headband thing and how everyone just loves everything I make. I just like disney crafts&.what can I say?

Once we made it to Test Track the wait was about an hour. It was cutting it close before dinner, so we were going to wait in the single rider line. With debating our choices we waited to long to wait in the long line so we decided not going on it.
Alicia wanted to go talk to a CM about a car because her broke down and now she is carless while living in Florida by herself. So in we went.

While Alicia talked to someone about a car Brittany and myself decided to take some photos. At first we realized that we wouldnt be able to because we didnt get a card but have no fear thats what a magic band is for!

Please enjoy some test track photos

Then we moved over to a car

I literally love this part of test track so much. I dont even know why, its just fun.
After enjoying our time at test track we walked over to the other side of future world because it was almost time for dinner. But we had a few minutes to spare so we decided to ride on the Bobby ride.

The Bobby ride? Well if you never read our first YOLO TR you might be a little confused. Bobby is Alicias friend from college who happened to be a DCPer during the spring of 2012. Because of him we were able to make our first YOLO trip actually happen. But anyways he worked in attractions and that attraction would be Figment. So now when we ride it we call it the Bobby (insert his last name) ride.

Once we toured Figments open house Andy enjoyed playing with the Melody maker

Alish enjoyed cuddling up with a plush figment as well as trying to hope the rope to walk up stairs.

It was time to head over to the place we would be eating for the night. Gma grabbed her scooter and Brittany was kind enough to direct her through the traffic in Epcot.

Onward!!!!

and a BOO to you too. i'm with you. my bohunkus is sittin' in alabam, but my mind is at the mnsshp. as much as i love donald, i miss the El Rio Del Tiempo, the river of time ride. and those mannequins dancing on the carousel. brittany missed a good opportunity to plank that chevy. the figment ride is a favorite. it doesn't hurt that it's not crowded and it's nice and cool. but then again so is my beloved carousel of progress. good choice by the newlyweds on eating at canada. we ate there last month and of course i got the cheddar cheese soup. good gravy, i could have eat the whole pot. as a matter of fact i asked our waitress if she could bring the pot out to our table. didn't happen. enjoying your updates. they always put a smile on this ole hippies face.

Trying to get caught up on all my TR's! I'm glad you posted almost an entire update about the Chase Lounge because we never did make it in there. I really only wanted to go in so I could say I had been on the top floor of the American Adventure building.

Great group photos! Good looking bunch. :goodvibes

Great update! Confession! I have NEVER ridden on the Three Cabaleros ride. Ever. I have always been distracted by the margaritas in there!

If I were to be honest that human carousel freaked me out! When they first changed it over to what it is now, I missed the people trying to sell you things.
In all of the craziness of the day we may have forgot all about the planking...
I have a special place in my heart for figment, I love him so much. With all these talks about getting rid of him makes my heart hurt. Don't even get me started with carousel of progress....SO MUCH LOVE!!!
I wish I could have gone to canada with them. It makes me sad that it is now 2 credits for both lunch and dinner. I mean I guess its worth it.

First off I hope you enjoyed your trip to disney!!! The pictures you posted on instagram looked like you had a blast!
The chase lounge was nice, you don't really need to spend a long time in. Get a drink and charge your phone for a hot quick second and your good to go. I wanted to go for the same reason as you :rotfl:

Great update! Confession! I have NEVER ridden on the Three Cabaleros ride. Ever. I have always been distracted by the margaritas in there!

I forgive you! It's one of those rides that it nice to go on and take a break from the florida heat. Its the Mexico version of Its a Small World.

Just Make Believe You're a Tiny Little Seed

Tonight we were eating dinner at the Garden Grill at 4:30. This was all of our first times here (except Alicia) I heard such great reviews so I was really excited. On our walk over to The Land Pavilion we were talking about the restaurant and how it rotates. Andy and Brittany were a little nervous because they cant handle spinning. I stated something along the line of put it on fast Gma was riding her scooter in front of us and Brittany thought I was talking about her but I was actually talking about the garden grill&.awkward!

Before we entered the pavilion Pa decided it would be a good idea for a quick little photo shoot.

In we went, the AC felt lovely and we were ready for the feast that awaited us

We checked in and tried to find somewhere to stand. It was very cramped in this area because they are working on the escalator so we tried our best to keep out of everyones way.

Less than 10 minutes and our buzzer went off. We split up into 2 groups because we dont like the gratuity rule with 6 people or more. So Alicia, Andy, Brittany and myself had the first reservation.

We were seated on the outside of the restaurant so we got to watch the world go around. Our waitress came by, gave us the menu, plates and bowls and took our drink orders.

Oh Hey were in DISNEY!!!!

We were ready for our garden grill feast

While we waited for our first part of our meal Dale came by&.more like came by being a creeper and scary Andy. We all laughed and took a photo with him.

After Dale left our first course came, first up was some salad and rolls

I normally love salad but this one wasnt great, I would have loved my Caesar salad from downstairs at sunshine season instead. The rolls however with the maple butter was a different story&they were delicious!

Our service was REAL slow! So we had to keep ourselves entertained. One way was pushing our backs against the booth making our hair stuck, this leads to you looking like a fool when you try to move your head. Why we were doing this? Who knows but we were laughing so much.

Pluto came by next!

After Pluto we got our main meal, which included all you care chicken, steak, fish, mashed potatoes, stuffing and veggies. If you are like us you can also ask for the childs menu, which includes mac & cheese (One of my favorite Disney foods), sweet potato fries and chicken drumsticks.

While we were chowing down Mickey decided to take a visit so excuse us while we try to hide the food in our mouths so we can smile.

During our dinner the AC was a dripping mess and kept dripping on Brittany and Andy.
We talked about how difficult it would be to work at this restaurant, I know I would be completely lost because it is constantly moving. Alicia told us the trick since you know she works there from time to time (what a life!)

Chip was the last one to visit us

The steak was the overall winner at our table so much that Alicia wanted more. She says she doesnt like steak and when we told her it was steak she didnt want to believe it. Either way we asked for more and waited a while to get it&

Listen To The Land We All Love

The other half of the family seemed to enjoy their meal. Although ma said she spent most the time on the phone trying to see if she could get KC more contacts. They enjoyed meeting all the beloved characters. First up Dale!

Then came Pluto

The main man himself

And the last person to come to the party was chip

Overall it seemed like they enjoyed there meal

Like I stated early our service was slow, so slow that they finished their meal and left before we even got our dessert.

With making a full turn around the restaurant we finally got our dessert.
Fresh Baked Harvest Skillet Cake with vanilla bean whipped cream and our children’s menu dessert some cupcakes

This dessert was wonderful! I loved the cake so much. When Alicia took a piece she took all of the whip cream…she was kind enough to scoop some back into the skillet. We hurried and chowed down our dessert because the fam was waiting for us.

Garden Grill overall wasn't horrible but I don't think it was as good as everyone made it out to be...maybe it was the slow service that made it bad. But I don't think it will be on my list of favorite restaurants.

After we scanned our magic bands and left our tip we booked it out of there and found everyone by the bathroom where Ma was charging her phone. There we tried to make a game plan.

First thing to do was go on one of Ma’s favorite rides…the land.
There was a short line, which took no time at all. When we were riding along Gma called me and she was just wondering where we were. We were always loosing Gma.

Once we “listened to the land we all love” it was time to find gma who was waiting at the entrance of the land pavilion. As we left we talked about going over to test track, then we saw the wait time board…when we saw that it was now an 80 minute wait we decided it was a no go.

We walked to the front of the park and decided to ride spaceship earth. Once we got there Gma had to go park her scooter.

Then it was time to go listen to a history lesson I never get tired of listening too

Welcome to your future

I’m unimpressed with the broken arm I got after a ski accident

Once returning back to earth, we waited around for Gma to get her scooter

Then it was time to roll out of Epcot

i like these long updates. they make for good reading. we've eaten at the garden grill i think twice. the last time was around the spring of '98. it was good, just not in the same league with o'hanas, liberty tree, norway, etc. i see your salad prejudice is showing. hail caesar, my asparagus. a little salad diversity is good for you. slow service can put a damper on a good meal. sorry about that broke arm on spaceship earth. you should give up skiing and just stick to bus surfing. the worst you can get is leg cramps. take it from me, i bus surf at least 80% of the time at disney. kudos are in order for the video. well done. only it needs to be a bit longer next time, say 30 minutes.

Garden Grill is always one of those restaurants I really want to book, but then I change my mind and go with something else. It seems to get really mixed reviews. But I definitely know how slow service can taint a meal! Even when the food and atmosphere is nice, having to wait forever definitely changes my opinion of the place.

I just watched your video, and LOVED IT as always! Your family looks like so much fun to travel with. :goodvibes I cracked up laughing at the montage of Gma on her scooter at the end!! :lmao: Another fantastic video!
