I don't know what to say????? Does anyone have a orginal idea anymore? It could be great and it could be a real bust, who knows.

While I don't have an opinion about the movie, I do love the /filmcast podcast where you got the link for the picture! I download it everyweek!

People get too uptight when Hollywood makes remakes, film adaptations, sequels etc.

Will it stink? Probably. But I enjoyed Garfield, Alvin and the Chipmunks AND Scooby-Doo. Why? Because I'm not so uptight and I'm very easy to please. So odds are I will see this movie and odds are I'll enjoy it enough that it will have been worth the $10 ticket.

I mean, cone on, not every movie I see do I want to be an emotional, cinematic masterpiece. (Nor can you expect it to be.) Sometimes I just want a dumb, fun movie about a talking bear.

I really hope you aren't implying that those who did not enjoy those movies you mentioned are uptight and hard to please. Liking or disliking ANY movie is just a matter of personal taste/preference. End of story.

I won't see this Yogi movie because I'm not interested in the subject matter, and have no kids. After watching the trailer, I am thankful for those two reasons.

It'll be huge like most kid/family oriented films are these days and will probably be a fun way to kill 90 minutes.

I don't mind remakes it's just there's been more than usual lately. The studios are going for a name brand to make money. You do what you can to survive in this economy.

There's plenty of good books that could be adapted,even some bad ones too.


Now they're even remaking TV shows. I heard there's a new version of Hawaii Five-O.
