I cannot believe the time has now finally come....

I have checked in online with BA and managed to sort out my seat problem - they had placed DD in a row on her own with myself DH & DS in a group of 3 in front. I did not really want my 12 year old sat with strangers - especially when there was a seat free next to us on the other side of the aisle!!

Boarding passes are all printed - now all I need to do is finish the packing and try to get some sleep tonight!!

Flying on the BA2037 at 11.20 from Gatwick - any others heading out tomorrow?

Thanks to everyone on here for the wonderful support through troubled times and also with general advice. Also thanks to people like Wayne who posted a fantastic live trip report back in August to keep make the magic seem so much nearer.

And Mikki Young - if we catch up in OKW - DH is definately up for a Tennis match!

All checked in, bags dropped and now we are eating bacon butties in the north terminal at gatwick. Lots of smiley and happy faces all round in the zippy family!

I'll be at Gatwick 2 weeks tomorrow - getting closer Flying with BA too but going to Tampa rather than Orlando.

Glad you got seat probs sorted - we're travelling as a 4 and hoping to get a 3 and a 1 on the opposite aisle.

Live from the world !

Sat in epcot today whilst the kids run wild in innoventions . Very hot here apparently record temps an no rain for 30 days nearly. Went to universal and rode forbidden journey it was amazing!

DH & DS play tennis every morning at okw usually between 7.30 and 8.30 after that it is too hot. Anyhow must be off lunch in coral reef!

Slightly cooler this morning after a very hot day yesterday dh and I have eaten and drunk our way round world showcase at food and wine whilst the kids did Kim possible great fun and relaxing for us off to the Cali grill tonight
