This is my first time writing. I have been visiting and reading this forum for some time now. I have to thank you, I have learned so much from all of you. I'm going to Disney May 9-12, the beach one day, and also to Universal. It's been a rough past year and I can't wait. I've had so much fun planning.

I had to write because I am so excited. And to let you know that with your guidance I have managed to get my CBR rooms for $74/nite. I've never stayed at a moderate resort - only Allstars Sports which was nice enough. Do you think I'll notice much of a difference by jumping up to a moderate? I couldn't beat the price. I had reservations with codes from www.mousesavers.com but just received a postcard from Disney. Seems silly they would send me better rates considering they already have my money - but I am not complaining! I'll spend the money I saved there at Disney anyway so I guess they're not really losing anything! I hope you all get postcards too...

I also bought 3 day park hopper passes from www.centralfloridatravel.com (for only$155). The woman was so nice and I got my order so fast. I also purchased Universal tickets from them (3 days for only $92). I would highly recommend them.

We are also staying at the Windsor Palms Resort. I got a 3 bedroom condo for $74 / night through www.closesttodisney.com. Simon is very nice. I haven't stayed here before but have heard nice things about the place.

I'm sorry if I sound like I'm bragging. Now if I can only find good airfare from Harrisburg, PA and for a rental car for my family who is meeting us down there. Any suggestions? I'm driving down with my DH and 5 yr old DS.

Thanks again for making the magic even better (cause it won't break my bank!). If any of you have stayed at Windsor Palms please let me know what you thought (or if you have any info on the Magic Dunes Golf Course I've heard is close by - I have golfers in the family).

By the way, my DS asked if Mickey was real or just pretend. His friend told him it was all just make believe. I told him the magic was very much real in my opinion and he would see for himself. What would you say?

Good for you!!!!!! (If I got one of those postcards in the next couple of days I'd use it even if it meant losing a paid for night on my Priceline rooms.)

Hi,

Wow, good price on the CBR and Windsor Palms unit. You will love CBR..it's a beautiful resort and the busing is good.

Hope you can find some decent airfare.

p.s. Yes, you will notice a BIG difference in a moderate compared to Allstars. And the CBR has the largest rooms of the moderates

herc.

We are flying out of Lehigh Valley International (Allentown) on Southeast - $129 round trip. Allentown is a couple of hours from Harrisburg.

What a great rate -- I want it! I think you'll notice a difference. Your room will be bigger, you'll have a slide at the main pool and a sit-down restaurant as well as food court and you'll get cute little bottles of Mickey shampoo. (If you want to take some home, make sure to put the old one away each day.:D ) I'm not sure if CBR has a hot tub -- you may get that also. Someone posted recently that the rooms there now have coffee pots, too.

The back entrance to Wyndham Palms Resort and Mystic Dunes Golf Course is right across the street from the entrance to Windsor Palms. Ask the guards at Windsor Palms and they will explain. You can actually see it from the guard house. Go straight across the road from Windsor Palms into Wyndham Palms Resort and take the first right. Follow the road up the hill as it bears to the left. You will see signs to the clubhouse. I hope that your golfers are men. My mother golfed that course in January this year and found them to be "cold shouldered" towards women golfers. It is a pretty long course. They have a web site. They also offer specials to Windsor Palm rentors. There are lots of golf courses in that area, you might want to do a little research.

Thanks for the info on the golf course. Our golfers are men. I'm sorry to hear that your mom wasn't treated well. We will have to do our homework.

Also, Kallison, the rate you got for Southeast is so good. I called and now they are $240! I will keep calling back to see if anything changes. Wish me luck and pixie dust... ;)

You might also want to check airfare from BWI/Baltimore. It's about 1.5 hrs from Harrisburg.
