....I did have a "magical" evening!! Ate at Rose and Crown. Wanted my lovely Fish and Chips one more time. Well two of the servers recognized me and greeted me like an old friend. My server this evening Gayle was the sweetest young lady and ready for this; presented me with a "Celebration Card" personalized from her, thanking me for being such a "loyal customer" AND all the other servers signed it!!! She even included her e-mail address because we were having such a good conversation!!! Only in WDW does this happen.

That is soooo nice !!! When you hear about special Disney moments like this or experience it firsthand you know the magic is still alive and well and that's what sets WDW apart A priceless wrap on a perfect trip I'd say Ms.WDW Linda Great trip report & enjoyed your pictures too !

Glad you had a safe trip home and it will be an exciting event in The Bronx tonight, fingers crossed for a YANKEES win

Very fun reading your trip report! So funny that we were there at the same time. I also had the same issues with the internet at SSR. Quite aggravating to type out a whole update only to lose it and have to sign in again. Still, even computer issues don't seem so bad when you're at WDW!!

I just found out that a caramel shop recently opened in Germany.

We enjoyed the Caramel Corn. Yummmmmmmm. Very, very, very good!!!

Found this Tee for $15.00 at DTD!!! What a deal!!!

Hey, that's funny! I picked up the same t-shirt on sale at DTD in green. Or was it Mousegear? Love it. Should have bought it in both colors.

If you're at the Studios and see these guys it's definately worth while to stop and listen...they are GREAT!!

These guys ARE great!! Good music and super funny. My DH sat and listened to their whole show twice.

THanks for sharing your trip, it really was an enjoyable read. Maybe someday I'll get a solo trip, too. Nahhhh, that'll never happen to me! However, I am just getting started on uploading my photos from our trip last week, too. Gotta re-live the magic before it wears off. Or at least before we get the laundry done and the suitcases put away.

You're too kind!! I was actually in pain that night!! I have arthritis in both knees and the right hip. Left hip has already been replaced. Anyway I was doing really well with all the walking until that night; Thursday. I managed to "limp" from the Rose and Crown pub all around the WS back to the International Gateway when I saw the Photopass person and said "why not". When I saw this picture I thought to myself "boy you look a little ragged".

You will absolutely love the Boardwalk View. Are you in a Studio or 1 BR? I loved drinking my coffee each morning on the balcony watching the sun come up. I think that's my most favorite time of the day.

Well you have lots to look forward to; expecially that Caramel Shop!!! OMG wait until you walk into it; the smell.....delicious!!

I agree - words can't describe the way it looks like the world changes from a black and white photo to a world filled with glorious color, sounds of laughter, delicious bakery smells, etc.......it's probably one of the closest things to heaven on earth

DH and I actually stayed in 3001 last June. The view was great! My view was nice but not as nice as the higher floor. I used the stairs every day when I went to and from the pool. My knees didn't mind that much; but sometimes that walk killed them! I usually don't have internet issues either there or over at SSR. But at least 4 times this past trip I'd have this big post going and "POOF"...I'd loose the connection!! Well I'm glad I was able to "bring you home" if only for a little while. That's what I love about this board; you can always "go home" .

We are not back to WDW for a while - unless we can sneak a quick trip in. We are scheduled to go to DLR with my in-laws in May. It'll be a fun trip, but I'll miss my BWV. Of course, my AP is burning a hole in my pocket. We may try to squeeze in one more before they expire.
