In Spain, Portugal, and France there's a trucker strike. All the truckers are refusing to deliver goods because of the rising gas prices. (In Europe, it's somewhere between 6$ and 10$ a gallon)
Supermarkets are running out of food, and gas stations have no gas.

So has the price of gas been affecting you/your family in any way?

------------

We're pretty much only going to California this year because it's already paid for. The rest of the summer we're doing 'staycations', staying really close to home for vacation.
And, the gas station close to home, ran out of gas. They haven't been paying their bills so they haven't had gas in almost 2 weeks.

It's not exactly affecting us a lot.
But my parents are less willing to go out for no reason.
It's getting ridiculous.

The prices haven't really affected us. We still go out a lot but that might change, where I live they say gas will go up to about 6 or 7 dollars by july :(

I have to take the bus next year.
My grandma wastes gas everyday though.
Instead of getting everything in two days or all in one day, she goes out everyday to shop.:faint:

my mom has to drive a minimum of 102 miles every day.

needless to say, gas prices are affecting my life.

I'm pumping up my bike tires soon and I'm walking to friend's houses this summer. I have to fill up every 3 weeks as long as I don't really do a lot of driving. But I just filled up my tank yesterday and it was $34. That's almost half of my weekly paycheck. This summer, I'm definitely not driving, unless I have to. I can't wait until the prices go down!

well, it hasnt affected me that much but now we go shopping places closer to us and not to the city as often, and when we do we wait until we have several things to do up there and sometimes we carpool with my friend when we have to buy stuff for our individual projects. for us to fill up my moms car its about 55$, and when we drove to florida in our SUV ( we had to haul a trailer) it cost about 130$ to fill it up in Canada, and this was in december.

We usually drive out minimum once a week to my aunt's house, about two hours away.
Now those trips are gonna be closer to once every two weeks or once a month.

Plus, gas prices are killing the economy. And since the economy's been sucking so bad, my dad lost his job.
Indirect effect, but huge nonetheless.

This is why we need more electric cars, and/or another alternative to gasoline.
