YIKES! What's up with Disneyland hours?!?

Hi all

We decided very last minute to fly down next week and visit DH who has been working in Anaheim all month. While he works during the day, DS and I will hit the parks . I just checked the Disney web site and it shows DL hours as 10-8 for next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday?!? Is this correct? Those hours seem awfully close to off season hours to me. Can anyone confirm this? Also....how have crowds been very recently? We'll be there Tuesday-Saturday. I know Friday and Saturday will be particularly crowded due to the holiday weekend, but am curious how mid-week has been lately.

Yep, it's true...the "off-season" for the DL parks starts 8/26! They have longer hours on weekends but the weekday hours are shortened. I guess it's because so many schools here are back in session already.

Enjoy the smaller crowds, at least!

I didn't realize that the local schools would be in session while we are there. DS doesn't start back until 9/5

We have lots of year-round schools here (my daughter started back in early August) but there are some schools that don't start until after Labor Day. There definitely are enough schools already in session, though, to help with the crowd levels during the week.
