Yikes! Now DH has thrush!!

He has been feeling lousy for the last couple of days and today he went to the dr. and they diagnosed thrush...eeeewwww! He had to take a note back to work that he couldn't be there for a week! At least he can work from home. Must have been all that stress he has been through lately.. I felt lousy last week but nothing like him.

How contagious is thrush??

Oh my! I always associated thrush with babies. Did the Dr. say how your DH got it?

Very contagious! Tell DH to throw away his toothbrush! This is a common problem in transplant patients for the first 6 months to one year after transplant.

Dr. should have put him on Clotrimazole (myclex).

Thrush is nothing but a Yeast infection! You can do a search on the web.

I hope he feels better soon!

I had it when I was hospitalized for my pregnancy and on the constant antibiotic IV meds. It killed all the bacteria including the good ones.
