Ok fellow scrappers - I'm looking for the strategies you use to narrow the number of photos you scrap.
Here is the situation. During my productive spurt of activity over the weekend I finished DS's freshman year in high school and all of the related activities. So I sat down and pulled everything for the next year and began to organize it, sorting the saved memorabilia into the photo sets, etc.
I must have 2000 pictures! No wonder my LSS loves me (they do my developing)! I know there are some multiples which are easily eliminated but my goodness....
So far besides looking at my accordian file and the entire slide in album stacked with it! and seeing the look on my co-leader/friend's face when she saw it last night...the only "thought" I've had is regarding the fall which is dominated by football. While he played on the JV team (and that is all done in the football album), he also worked on the stats staff for varsity and had a number of friends playing there. I considered focusing on the few photos of DS I have in the booth and then selecting one or two photos each of the guys he knew best as well as a few of the band pictures. Telling myself I will limit this section to 6 or 8 pages and anything more has to be eliminated.
Any other thoughts out there?
