Yikes Driving to DL.

After being one of the posters here telling folks to avoid driving to SoCal from Vegas on Sunday,guess what? We are making the Sunday drive. Actually have to be in the San Fernando Valley area early Monday so we are making the drive then heading down to DL early Mon. afternoon. Leaving in the early A.M. so hopefully we will beat the mad rush out of town. Do as I say not as I do or however it goes. LOL

LOL, don't forget to pack your patience. You have my sympathy, that Vegas to LA Sunday drive can be a killer. If you wait until after 10am the drive from SFV to DL shouldn't be too bad. Coming from Santa Clarita, I've tried to go earlier, say 8am. But end up getting there about the same time I would have if I waited until 9 or 9:30am!

Thanks. What is this thing you call patience? LOL We're staying in Chatsworth Sun. night then hope to get on the way to DL at 12-1230PM. Any time after 2 can be painful as well headed down I-5. Well we won't be on the 405. It is painful all the time. LOL
