My husband was told not to purchase our disney tickets (We are going to get 2 days tickets for disney plus we are doing universal this time) until we get down to florida because there are tons of places that you don't have to do a timeshare deal for that will sell you tickets for much less???
Are these tickets ligit or is it just a bunch of timeshare stuff??? :hourglass

Its just more timeshare stuff. That said, there really isn't any reason to buy your tickets ahead of time, you only save a few minutes on the first day.

Please also think twice about spending only 2 days at WDW. This place is huge! Four days is the practical minimum for seeing it all.

If I were going for 10 days I could consider doing a timeshare to get free ticke
ts...

In my opinion in order to see most to everything at the parks I would allow:
2 days Magic Kingdom
2 days Epcot
1 1/2 days MGM
1 day Animal Kingdom

I would not spend 1/2 day doing a timeshare to ge a couple of free tickets.. To me in Disney.... time is $$

This is our second trip to disney we did do the hopper passes b4. We are going to SeaWorld one day and Universal for a few days. I knwo we are going to Magic K and possible Animal Kingdom. We are on a budget and this time will only be doing 2 days max at the disney parks.

Okay, it's your money and your time.
There are (or were) booths all over the Orlando area, often in conjunction with souvenir stores, that would sell partially used passes that they'd purchased from departing Guests. There is NO way to know, until you try to use them, whether there actually ARE any days available on the tickets. You could find yourself out a lot of money.
Or, yes, you can do one or more time share presentations. These are advertised all over the place as well; if you're not staying in a Disney-owned or Official Universal Studios resort, chances are there'll be something available from your hotel's Guest Services desk.

If you buy tkts. from one of the online brokers mentioned on mousesavers ahead of time you'll save a little money and a little time.

The booths that katieeldr mentioned don't exist any more. At least, I haven't seen one in about 8 or 10 years.

Every place I have seen in the last 8 or 10 years that advertizes tickets has been a timeshare advertizement.

Most off-site hotels do sell Disney passes, however; they are authorized resellers, just like TicketMania and Maple Leaf.

But I always get my tickets ahead of time from either the Disney Store or TicketMania, simply for the convenience of having my tickets in hand when I get to the gates. Depending on what tickets you buy, pre-purchasing can also save you a few bucks.

Always buy from a trusted supplier of Disney tickets. You will see a TON of places offering discount tickets as soon as you cross the FL line. If you buy from them, make sure they are reputable.
