We are a family of 5. I know I will be able to board w/my youngest because of her age. Should I purchase the early boarding for my 6 year old or will she be able to board w/me or "save" a middle seat.....My dh and ds are fine not sitting in the same row.

Did you purchase 5 individual tickets? If not then you all will get boarding pass numbers I'm sequence. Ex. A20-A25

4 of the tickets were free. Only had to purchase 1. So that should be fun trying to check in at 24 hours

I would not bother with the EBCI for the 6 year old. What I would do is make sure that I get on line and get boarding passes for everyone at the 24 hour mark.
If you get A boarding passes then you can all just board together. If your boarding passes are Bs then you, your youngest and the 6 year old should board with the family boarding (which is just after the A boarding passes) and then have your husband and other child board when the Bs board. Chances are good that you can all sit near each other.

Sounds good:)

Sounds like they each have their own confirmation number? If so, open up a browser window (or tab, which ever one you feel most comfy toggling between, if your browser has tabs) for each confirmation number, go into SW, go as far into the checkin process as you can. Once the right time hits, just boom boom boom go from one to the next checking in.

If you guys are separated, just clump at the further back number (the higher number).

Family boarding is *after* the A boarders, so you might as well try for the As.
