Our trip will be in May 2008, I have two ds's 4 & 1. Right now my 4yo is very big for his age, he is 47" tall and weights 51lbs, so next year he'll be much bigger and knowing him, he'll need a stroller just for the parks.

Is there a stroller that supports a kid this big. I was planning on taking a reclinable stroller for my 1yo (who'll be 2yo on the trip), and an umbrella stroller for the oldest (if he'll fit in it). Will this stroller support him? If not, maybe a doubble stroller? Also, I've heard about buggy boards, do they really work? I really don't want to rent one because with all the money I'll be paying I can buy one at home.

I have been researching a lot of strollers this past week and finally chose the mac techno twin. In my research the most a double would take was 55 pounds (110 total) I think there is a single that holds 65 pounds. I had friends who rented a double and those things would definatly hold him, i think it would hold me. LOL I am like you and do not see why you would rent when you could buy, however in your situation you might want to consider it since you think your oldest might use the stroller or you could get two singles and put them together. (but the expense of the single i think would be more than renting one). Then there is the boogy board which looks akward to me, but someone who has used could tell you more. I hope this helps a little.
