I just found another new Disney app for the iPhone. I know there are the park maps and the WDW Secrets apps. Now there is the WDW Dining app, which has the resort and park restaurant listings and menus. I know the park apps will link you to the AllEars menus, but this is really nice to have all in one place on my iPhone. The app was just released. I love browsing through all of the menus, deciding where I'm going to eat on my upcoming trip. It'll be handy to have in the park if we're indecisive about where to eat. It's only .99.

Are the listings actually on the app itself that you can access without "going online"?

As in, if you had your iPhone in "airplane mode" for example would you be able to view the menus?

Yes, all of the menus load onto the phone itself, no need for an internet connection to access them.

That's very handy indeed. Thanks. I wonder how often they will update the menus.

I've bought it now and had a look. It has the basic information you would need when in a park and wondering what to eat without walking from place to place to look at the menus.

It's fine for the price.

I love this stuff, but don't some of the menus stay the same for years? Just thinking a frequent update might not be too vital.:confused3

I think so, too. And if there is a major change for any of the menus, we'll probably know about it from the DISboards, anyway. :) :) :)

I think it's handy, too, and well worth the 99 cents. :)

I think it is very handy...my DD6 is a vegetarian and super picky so we always like to know the menu before hand especially at CS. I was going to print out a huge stack of menus to bring with...now I don't have to!:)

I'm having a hard time finding this in the app store. What is it called? Any way someone can "point" me in the right direction? Sounds like something that could be very handy...

Thanks!

I just bought it, it says it's compatible with iTouch, I synched, and the app still isn't there.

Maybe it's just too early.
