Yet another Magical Mornings Question

DH and I are heading to DL, and so DH called the DLH to book a room for the weekend. After we had booked the room, DH asked if Magical Mornings would be the taking place the Saturday morning of our first day there (we assumed it would be, but the follow-up question was going to be whether Star Tours would be available for MM, at least to get the Fast Pass). The CM on the phone said that he wouldn’t know if we could get in for Magical Mornings that day or not because “the hotel only has a limited number of Magical Morning passes to give out” and we might not be able to get one since we are checking in late Friday night.

Ummm….what???

Every other time we have stayed on property, we’ve just had to show our room key (and our APs, of course) at the gate to get in for Magical Mornings. We were just there in March and it was that way…has something changed in the last month and a half? Or did this CM not know what he was talking about?

Thanks,

When you call to reserve a Disney Hotel, chances are slim you are talking to someone in California. Disney has a handfull of call centers in the US taking reservations.

Chances are the person only has data they are reading without ever having been to a Magic Morning.

Star Tours reopens June 3rd, if your travel date is after that you can assume ST will be part of it.

My guess is the CM had Magic Morning Entry and Toon Town Morning Madness mixed up. The TTMM are vouchers to get into Toon Town early. They are usually received by people who book packages but I have heard you can occassionaly get the voucher when you stay on-site by asking

Just my thoughts...

No changes. If staying on site, you are entitled to MM each day it's offered. (including the day of departure AND the day of arrival (if you get there early enough). Other comments below:

FP pickup has never been available during the MM hour. ).

The CM is ill informed.

I'll let others comment. I'm thinking all you need is the room key & AP.....but maybe you also get a voucher for MM at check in at the DLR hotel?

The other possibility is that the person on the phone heard "Morning Madness" and was thinking of toontown which does need a ticket....just a thought

We just stayed at the DLH and never needed anything from them to get into MM. We went 4 times and only needed our tickets and id.
