Yet Another Hotel Question

Which hotel is more convenient for getting to both DL and CA? Also, if you are a guest at a DL hotel but not on a package plan, can you get some kind of park hopper pass? How about advance reservations for Fantasmic Dessert thing or Blue Bayou? Thanks for any info.

Hi Lucy! All the Disney hotels are convenient for both parks, the Grand Californian is the CLOSEST but the parks are within easy walking distance of both the Disneyland and Paradise Pier hotels.

Hotel guests CAN purchase the "Ultimate Park Hopper Passes" at the hotel if they don't have a package through Disney, and they will then have the ability to hop between both parks.

As far as I know, there are NO advance reservations for the Fantasmic Dessert Buffet, but guests staying at the concierge level at the Disney hotels have been able to get reservations at the Blue Bayou 24 hours in advance.
