We have APs and plan to be in the park in the afternoon before HHN. Do we have to leave the park and re-enter for HHN or can we stay in the park if we already have our HHN tickets. I'm confused about the Stay and Scream thing. Do we have to purchase that to stay in the park even if we are AP holders? Thank You!!!!

From what I have been told, as this is my first HHN as well, and I am an AP holder also, when you are already in the parks, they send you to a holding area, until they open for HHN. If you are in the holding area (stay and scream) you get into the houses before the general public who is just coming for HHN. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works!

That is correct. It does sound confusing about the stay and scream
It almost sounds like a add on to a hhn ticket , but simply put be in the
park (universal) with hhn ticket and you will be able to stay.

Best witches and happy haunting!

Thank You! We are so psyched! (Well, at least I am. DS14 is psyched with slight reservation...)

if you are in the park during the daytime and plan to attend HHN, don't leave the park !!

ioa closes at 7:00
studios closes at 5:00 and clears the park out before hhn will start.

if you have the hhn ticket, you qualify to go to the stay and scream holding area. it usually will be in a resturant. you hang around there until the security and staff give the all clear to leave and start your hhn experience.

if you leave the park, you will have to stand in line outside the entrance gate until the general public is let in.

the lines are long, i have seen people in past years start to line up at 5:00.

and, you will have to go through the metal detectors.
think about the length of time you will lose just doing that.

be smart, do the stay and scream holding area.

if you have a day ticket to the park, you can buy the ADD ON ticket which is for the HHN event. it's at a cheaper rate. if you have the ap, no discounts this year for the epp.
