Hi! We just got back from a great mini get away at WDW.This was our first time staying at WL.This is a wonderful resort.Much to our dismay in the middle of our trip they changed the policy with the mugs.We had been getting hot chocolate for the kids. Then on Feb 1st they discontinued offering hot choc with the mugs. The sign out front of Roaring Forks was colored over the "hot choc."It hit us as a shoddy move.So we took the menu tent from the room that still advertised hot choc.We plan on sending this along with our letter. Our kids are big hot choc lovers this was the reason we bought the mugs for the kids.
What is the deal with that AWFUL coffee!?!?!?That had to be the worst coffee we've had in a long time.My DH got decaf at CRT and swore it was instant.Like we all have said don't make cutbacks where the guest will surely notice it.And definetley don't fool with a person's coffee :(
Weather was great and lines were never a problem.Walked right onto Test Track, got off and walked right on a second time.

I know, isn't it horrible how horrible the coffee can really be sometimes. To get good stuff, ya need to go to the Poly. That instant stuff isn't worth the 1.49 ya pay for it.

I can say that when we were at POFQ in December, the hot chocolate was running out every night and they were constatly having to refill it. I'm sure the high demand is because it has been VERY cold this winter and that is all that anyone is drinking. One evening we were sitting at a table near the drink station and I watched as over about a twenty minute period, everyone who went up there was getting hot chocolate. This was not surprising since the coffee tastes like crap! Disney seems to be ending a bunch of partnerships these days, let's hope they soon end the one with NESCRAPPE! ;)

I also think the coffee tastes terrible. The whole time were on vacation, we didn't drink any coffee.

I believe that most of the coffee in the "World" is instant (Nescafe), even in the restaurants, with the exception of the Polynesian and I think a restaurant in the Animal Kingdom Lodge (pressed coffee??). I personally don't drink coffee, but I know when we go, I plan on bringing a bag of Dunkin Donuts coffee and filter liners for my husband. He's not an "instant" kind a guy.

I just went today and bought coffee. Dh will not drink the stuff at WDW and he has to have is coffee every morning.:D

At WL they were serving the instant packets. Not even the good stuff out of a machine.I assume this way they could monitor it.You have to buy the packet at the register. With the sizes of the mugs to get a good flavor you would have to buy 2 packets.Next time we visit we're going back to the cabins at FW.There I have all the comforts of home...including good coffee :p WDW should be embarrassed serving that quality of coffee.I would hate to be a waiter hearing all the complaints.

Last month hot choclate was not available at the food court at CBR you had to ask a CM for it but they gave it out if you asked. It was available at AKL.I guess I must be easy to please, I don't find the coffee to be bad.

I don't mind the Nescafe at all! Now, if they would only offer the Nescafe Frothe. (Silky White Chocolate is the best!) :p
