Yet Another Banking Question????

Sorry about this but I have a question that I think I know the answer on but I need to ask.

If someone has pts left for their Oct UY and they are at the 25% banking window now.

They decide to bank 25% of the points so they don't lose them.

Will they loose any remaining points or can they still use them buy the end of their UY???


Banking is not all or nothing........is it????

At this point, 25% of the total contract is the maximum that can still be banked and they have only until July 31 to do that. If they have previously banked any points during this Use Year, they may already be over that 25% threshhold and could not bank any more.

Any current points not banked are still available for use until they expire at the end of the current Use Year. They could also ask for a one-time exemption from the normal policy and MS might allow them to bank all points from the current Use Year. This is an unwritten/unspoken policy but it can't hurt to ask MS if it would be possible.
