Hi, folks!
I've done a bunch of searching on here and on ye ol' Google, but can't seem to find an answer, so here goes...

We're going to be visiting WDW in a week. We have a 7 day, park hopper tickets with our MYW package. We are looking to upgrade to a standard Annual Pass.

I know we'll be paying the ticket price difference, but I see varying comments on what that means. In this situation, is our 7 day pass worth the same as the ticket window price? Or is there a discounted price we won't know about until we get to the window?

Just wanted to try to parse out the right amount so we don't get hit with sticker shock! Haha. Thanks in advance to anyone that even just read through all my blabber.

Use your 7 day tickets at least once to enter a park before upgrading to an AP. By using the ticket you will bring their value up to that day's gate price. Check the value of the 7 day park hopper for that day and the price of the AP you are planning to get. The difference will be the amount you will have to pay when you upgrade to the AP.

Thank you very much!
So it is treated like a every other ticket. All I kept seeing was goofy qualifiers that made me nervous.
You have put me at ease and I greatly appreciate it!
