.......I was almost assaulted.........by a 1st grader........:rotfl:

Get to the school, gather up all the kids going to after care. Take them to our designated room, let them have time to go to bath room, get drinks, buy ice cream, etc. Gather things and head to play ground. One of the 1st graders (whose mom works in the Unniversity business office) decides he is going to his mom's office (a block or so down and across a busy 4 lane street). So I advise him that he may not walk to his mom's office alone and has to wait for her to come pick him up (this is not his first time in after care - he comes a couple of times a week). So off to the play ground the whole group heads with this one boy lagging behind, he keeps stopping and has to be prompted to come on. Thus the line has to be started and stopped. Finally make it to the playground fence and all the others rush inside. Said 1st grader refuses to come and starts moving down the sidewalk. Again is told he may not walk to mom's office. He finally starts to leave and I have to hold on to him to prevent him from running down the sidewalk, to which he replies, "you know I can kick you".

So he drops a can soda that explodes and sprays all over us. He found this hillarious.

Each time I would ask him to join the rest of the kids on the play ground his reply was "stop saying blah, blah, blah, blah, blah".

DS goes to the office to get the head master (big guy) who starts talking to the 1st grader so I release him and he walks away from the head master, down the sidewalk headed to his mom's office. He (head master) had to call the mom to come get him.

If he were my son some spilled soda would be the least of his worries.

You'll have to let us know if he comes back today.

The hardened criminals are getting younger and younger.. :rotfl:

Yikes! He's quite the charmer, isn't he :scared: .

agnes!

He didn't want to go to the play ground, he wanted to stay inside, thus the drama started.

When he does come and stay, when the mom shows up to pick him up, she calls him about 20 times and he continues to ignore her, play, run, etc. She usually only gets him out the door by grabbing him by the ear as he runs by and dragging him away.

:confused3

Looks like Junior runs that household. Imagine what their family life will be like by the time he's a teenager...

DS cracked me up though as he was getting pretty upset that this little boy wasn't being obedient. But later when he was trying to describe the kid to DH while explaining the situation he said, "you know, the tan kid with the tan hair and blue eyes".:rotfl2:

He meant brown hair. The little boy has obviously played outside a lot.

This is where a smack, on the butt is needed.
