We've had decent water pressure since late yesterday afternoon but we are supposed to conserve water wherever possible. So no outside watering and they've closed the community pool. I'm sure we're going to get complaints about that over the weekend since DH is the head of the HOA. Oh well. That's how it goes. Tough bunnies.
We got a real laugh yesterday. DH went up to town hall because they'd called him and asked him to distribute flyers to local businesses, etc. The receptionist told us about a call she'd recieved that made us giggle.

R: Town of Little Elm, Public Works, this is R speaking.
CL: I wanna know who caused the drought.
R: Er..God?
CL: Well, maybe. But I think it was this town's fault!
R: Howzat?
CL: You let too many people build homes here. That's why we have a drought. There are TOO MANY HOMES here! They should stop building homes here.
R: Um..ok. Have a nice day.
