YES Progarm???

I'm going to Disney on May 30th with my school, and on one of the days we're there we are suppose to do something with the YES program.

1. Is any one going to Disney around that time.
2. Does anyone know what YES Program is.
3. Is anyone going with their school/participate in it.

Our school never did anything with the YES program, but my dad's students have participated in it while they were down there for the FIRST Robotics competitions. We went on this tour around the MK with a tour guide who discussed with us some secrets about how things worked. Since my dad teaches electronics, the program for him focused on physics. He has done it several times with different students. Last summer the tour focus was on electromagnetic fields and stuff - we rode the TTA for examples of that. It's kind of interesting. I enjoyed it and I wasn't even technically with the class haha.

ETA: One of the other segments of the tour included going behind the scenes of the Haunted Mansion. I got to see how it works and we actually stood on the same level as the ballroom scene and saw how it worked. It was wicked interesting for me as I thought about how we were actually on the ballroom floor and guests were in doombuggies above us watching the "ghosts". It was so neat. Don't be confused though, we weren't on the visible area of the ballroom.
