I thought I heard something about this on the news this morning but I was at work and couldn't hear the whole story. I goggled it tonight and yup Lion King on Broadway is coming to Orlando in December. 
I'm so super excited as I've been waiting forever to see this show and was even considering a one night stay in NY just to go see the show.
For any DISer's who've have been how was it and help me convince my non-broadway loving DFiance' that he'll enjoy it.
