Baby thrown out apartment window survives
A Peekskill, New York, man was arrested yesterday after tossing his daughter out a seventh floor window during an argument with his ex-girlfriend. The 10-month-old girl survived the 80-foot fall with only cuts and bruises, crashing through several tree branches before landing.

I'm glad that baby had a Guardian Angel for her. I hope that idiot goes to jail for a long, long, long, long, long time.

I am thankful that the baby survived, and for the record, I too believe in God.

BUT...

Just this week a family in my church lost a 4 year old who was killed by a car and I was in the hospital last night with close Christian friends who lost their baby. The mother was 3 months pregnant and past most of the "danger" points.

If EROS were here, he would point out examples like this so I think it is only fair to mention it.

I am thankful when God intervenes, but since many times He chooses not to, I would not use it as a way to prove His existance.

(Remember, before this gets nasty, that I am on your side!)

As for the story...I hope the man gets the death penalty. How could someone be so cruel?
