I just can't decide what to do and am turning to the experts :thumbsup2 I will be going to WDW with an 18 month old and two older children. I currently have a Graco Quatro Tour. It's a great stroller but HUGE. We are staying at POFQ so we will be going on buses lots :crowded: and over Xmas none the less. SO is it worth the money to buy another stroller?:confused3 I can't see spending more than 100-130 bucks if I do buy one so is there any worth it in that range? I live in the boondocks so I can't test run any quality strollers in the stores. I found this one that is new and wanted opinions on how it might do. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5556441

Any advise and recommendations are greatly appreciated on the never ending "do I buy another stroller" question :lmao:

I don't know much about the stroller in your post but the recommended stroller on this site is the Mac I have found these mac's on ebay in your price range and they are all buy it now I wasn't sure which color you would want or need so I posted a couple. You may also want to check a craigslist near you for a mac.

We went to Toys R Us and found a stroller that was a step up from an umbrella stroller but not as bulky and expensive as a regular stroller. It was PERFECT!! It still had storage underneath and was very lightweight and folded up to the size of a folding chair. It was so easy to transport but still had the support and storage that we were used to. Good luck and have a great trip!!!:wizard:

Seeing that you have a 4 yo tooo, I would definetly go with a Maclaren.

I would go with the Quest because it reclines more (for baby) and has a deeper seat (for the older child).

There might be some Quests on sale at albeebaby.com

We just got a Mac quest about 2 mon ago for DS who is now 7mon, he loves it and so do we. I looked at them all and the Mac,s are the best for us and we went with the quest for the recline and leg extender. I got mine from all be baby, a 2006 model on sale. We also have a mac3 jogger that we love. My gracco quattro is good as well ,but for an umbrella I say get a Mac for sure! As you can tell I am stroller crazy, we have four!:rotfl: Good luck!

Thank you for the advise guys. If I end up getting a new stroller I'll get a mac. Two questions::confused:

Which mac? Volo or Triumph?

Is carrying the big stroller going to be too much of a hassle to warrant moving to a smaller stroller without cup holders, big storage, etc?

As long as it has an umbrella fold like the Volo and Triumph, it will be great on the buses. I do think that carrying a larger stroller (folding it, dragging it onto the bus) is a huge hassle, but I found it to be a hassle in and out of the trunk of the car! I got ride of my big travel system stroller right before my first child's first birthday because I was tired of hauling it in and out of the trunk.

Volo doesn't recline. If you think that you want recline, go with the Triumph. The Volo has some recline in any case, and many children are able to sleep fine. BRU has them in person if you want to check them out.

I have a Pliko, not a Mac, so I can't help with storage. We had a backpack diaper bag (Lands End), and just hung it on the stroller handles. Storage wasn't a problem. Macs tend to tip with too much weight on the back when you take the child out of the stroller. If you went with the backpack on the back, just take it off before you take your child out of the stroller.

There was only one time that I felt like I needed a cupholder, so I just had someone else push the stroller (DH or DD6 at the time). If you really feel like you need one, there are ones that can be added after market (check carryyou.com).

Macs have good resell value, so maybe that helps with shelling out the money.

I say neither. With an 18m old you will want a stroller with a legrest that extends.

So, for Maclarens, that's the Quest, Techno or Ryder. You can also look at the Inglesina Trip ( $149 and ships free http://www.babyride.com/1791-ar4.html ) and the Peg Perego Pliko Lite ($139 for the blue, ships free http://www.specialtybaby.com/pegpe20pllic3.html ).

The Trip and the Pliko lite will be much less tippy than the Macs :).

I would be very nice to have something that is less likely to tip. That's one thing that drives me nuts about stroller! So I will check those out also. Do they push well? I hate trying to figure out a stroller:coffee: Thank you guys!

We have the Maclaren Quest and we are very happy with it. It is very smooth and easy to push. We also have the Chicco Cortina but that is much heavier and bulky.
