So I downloaded Ridemax and am actuall really liking it. I do, however, have a question with a suggestion they are giving me. They tell me to get a FP for Splash Mountain at 9:04 and then one for HM at 9:40-is that possible to get 2 FP within the same hour? For some reason I had it in my head that you had to wait like 2 hours between getting each FP. :confused3 TIA! :flower3:

you have to wait EITHER 2 hours OR the time the first fast pass becomes "usable". so yes, totally possible. :)

I may be wrong, but I remember reading somewhere that certain fastpass machines are not connected to the others. So it is possible to get 2 within the same hour.

Which machines they are, I have no idea. LOL

Oh - I believe GRR is not connected. Actually, I am pretty sure GRR is not connected. But as for Splash and HM, I have no idea.

I agree, but 9:40 seems optimistic....it might be 9:50 or 10:00, so be prepared.

I like ride-max & use it as a general guide (& for the wow..that's a good idea type info). I subscribed for the year & will resubscribe.

But sometimes their FP advice has one running all over (or backtracking) the park, which i tend to avoid...also, i prefer HydroGuy's FP order advice (especially on crowded days when popular FPs run out earlier).

Have a great time. :thumbsup2

In DL, Roger Rabbit is the disconnected ride.

I KNOW that HM (holiday version) is DEFINITELY connected to the others. I had to tap my toes at the FP machine for about 90 seconds (two weeks ago) waiting for my 9:50am return time. :rotfl:

Thanks everyone. I will definitely reread Hydroguy's tips before I go. The thing I appreciate about Ridemax so far are the tips they provide that we all know from these boards but things I might forget, ie, turning around in the Winnie the Pooh ride to see the tribute to Country Bear Jamboree. Plus it's a whole lot of fun just trying to manipulate the program to fit my ideals :rotfl:

If you want to see the CBJ tribute be sure to sit in the front row of the honeycomb ride vehicle. If you sit in the back row the back of the vehicle is tall and difficult to see around and you might miss it.

Look back as you enter the room after the heffalump room.

Please don't blaze me for not spelling heffalump correctly either!:rotfl2:

By the bye, there was a funny quirk with that FP return time when we were there last week.

When we did it in March, we could depend on our first FP return time window opening up at 35-40 minutes past the opening hour. So if we got there and got a FP at 8:05, the return time was likely to be 8:40.

Maybe they don't open up the FP return lines till after the first hour during less busy times, because 3 separate times, I noticed that my FIRST fastpass had an hour till the return time :headache:. So if we got there at 8, the FP return time was 9. But then the SECOND fastpass would have the 35 minute return time, 9:35. :confused3

Keep in mind, too, that sometimes they turn off the FPs for some of the rides during the weekdays, if it's not so busy. While we were there last week, they had Buzz, Autopia and GRR in California Adventure, all turned off. Just wasn't busy enough to need them.

Very likely.

At opening very few FPs are out and the return time is real quick.

The other day at opening (10am) I got FPs for Indy with a return time of 11:30.

If I would have gotten them right away instead of standing in a line watching the numbers click higher I could have easily gotten them for around 10:50.

The 1st few hours after opening is the best time to get FPs.
