Year of a Million Dreams

My husband and I went to Disney last August and I filled out cards and mailed them off with the appropriate info in hopes of being picked for something special with Year of A Million Dreams. Of course, I never got picked. We are going again this December. We going couples only and it's about 6 couples. I filled out the cards again and mailed them off with all the appropriate info. This may sound silly but do they not tend to pick people without children? Just didn't know if I was wasting my time. THanks for any input. db

Except for some "magical moments" the actual prizes are given completely at random. It matters not who you are, you have to be at the right place at the right time. The Dream Squad are told what time and what place (chosen by a computer) they will give out any prize(s), they have no choice in the matter.

The only thing you can do to help your self is get to the park early (most prizes given out before 1pm) and ride! Have fun!

Then why do I bother to write in my name address, etc. and mail it off to Illinois to be placed in a group to be (hopefully) picked? I guess I don't understand how it actually works.

The cards have nothing to do with winning something in the park. That is a completely different part of the giveaway. The park prizes are given out randomly based on being in a certain place at a certain time, so it doesn't matter whether you have kids or not.
