My Dtwins and I returned on Monday night from a wonderful trip! Let me start by saying I left my cell phone home! I think it was an accident in our rush to make a 6:55am flight, but I'm just not sure since I had contimplated not carrying it with me at the parks. The first 12 hours it made me insane after that... it was I thought it was the best mistake I had EVER made!

1st Day arrived at All Satr Movies around noon. It took quite awhile to check in as they claimed to have a new system. :hourglass I'll save you the details but, in true disney fashion my children were not impatient or bored they were given approx 40 mickey stickers each, coloring pages and crayons. We spent they day at the pool. Headed to O'Hana for dinner. We toured the beautiful resort... kids dreaming of one day staying there. They loved the pool! Had a wonderfully delicious dinner. We thought the food was just amazing and well worth a stop if you have the DDP. My kids aren't the chix nugget and pizza types. Every single thing we ate was delicious. The kids had lots of fun with coconut races, hula dancing, performer and searching for hidden Mickeys. Found one in the carpet at Kona which is next door.

Day 2 Animal Kingdom. We just love animals and everything about this park. The day was warm and the park is beautiful. DDP lunch at Falme tree BBQ. We all used kids counter service meals which were yummy. Chix wings and hot dogs. We did all the walking trails and loved every quiet moment watching the animals, reading the information, petting the boa and speaking to CMs about the differnt species. We stayed until the park closed. Headed to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We were early for our dinner at Boma. So we toured the hotel. It is gorgeous. If money werent an option that is were I would stay. The hotel has a map listing all the animal overlooks. We did them all, It took about a half an hour and there was a CM at each site to answer questions. We still had sometime and as we walking around to find a quiet spot to sit, stumbled across 2 CMs giving a short class on animals. It was already started but they let my twins join right in. Dinner was fun. We had seats all the way in the back where it was much quieter. VERY NICE. It was fun for all of us to try the differnt foods. The Buffet thing worked very well on the DDP for my children. They ate everything thing they wanted from the buffet. Dessert was mostly fruit and cookies for us. Lots of dessert had liquor.

Day 3 Magic Kingdom. I had pre-booked the Family magic tour. I pretended we had a message when we woke in the morning and told the kids our help was needed at the kingdom. We checked in town hall on main street. I inquired to where the closest lockers were and a CM offered to hold my bag for they day. My ever hungry & thirsty DS asked if we could go get drinks before we started. They gave both DS& DD a full bottle of cold water. Wehad to time to try Buzz lightyear before our tour. We went straight to the ride. No line, we walk right in and a CM says :cheer2: :CONGRATULATIONS!:cheer2:! We won a dream fast pass for Magic Kingdom! :yay: It was great the kids had no idea how great until we started to use the pass. The passes were great for us all. We even shared with another family because we weren't using the roller coaters. So we had a chance to spread the fun. Which made it even more fun for us! I must admit the tour was a bit boring. The Cm had good intentions but he wasn't that exciting. He stopped and left us for about 10 minutes just when the tour started to pick up speed...Im not sure why. The group I was with had a few parents with strollers which slowed us down and took away from the "hiding from the pirates" and the "playful feeling" to the whole tour. I'm the type to crawl on the flooor and get into character when needed, but I was the only adult willing to. The Cm finally gave up asking others. Ice cream for lunch! It is vacation:rolleyes1 Swimming in the afternoon. Dinner at our hotel. Best taco salad I've ever had. Kids weren't as happy with theirs but we made due.

To be continued.... Epoct, MGM, EXTRA MAGIC HOURS AT MK, LAST DAY!

Day 4 Epcot... Let me start by saying my twins normally do not like fireworks at all but asked me if we could stay to see the show the saw on the map. I was all for it but suprised. When I questioned them the reply was disney wouldn't make them scary. So we slept a little later, made the kids wear bathing suits under their clothes and packed the unmentionables (LOL) and we were on our way. If you haven't been to Epcot the reason for the bathing suits is it seems to me that Epcot is always so hot. I'm not sure if it is the backtop, the lack natural shade or just is size and location but, it seems to me to be the hottest of the parks reguardless of what time of yr we go. So if yoou haven't guessed it already I am one of those parents that allow thier children to run through the fountains. BT (before twins) I thought ewww gross. Now I feel differntly. Funny how motherhood changes a person. They love it, so it is well worth a stop or two and carrying the towels and such throughout they day. Anyway, I'm of the trip report and giving tips here...excuse me. We skipped spaceship earth to head over to Nemo early. Stopped at Innovations and played a bit first. We spent almost 2 hours in the building with Nemo. We did the Nemo ride and then the aquarium, stopped at the kidcot waited in vain for the crush show twice but there were technical diffculties. I was getting a bit antsy but the kids could watch the fish for hours. Oh wait ...THEY DID! We moved on to do Figment great for their age (7). (Please forgive me but the next few attration names escape me-think you'll get it from the description) . The Lion King movie about taking care of the earth. The garden tour was great for the kids and I. We were all amazed and plan to do the walking tour next time. We opted for the fast pass for Soarin. 40 minute wait and after the Magical FP we weren't into the wait. We checked out some of the gardens, since it was Flower and garden show.We stopped to play in the fountains. Then headed to the world showcase. This was the only time an adult companion would have been nice. To sit in Italy and have a glass of wine by the fountain would have been very nice. Maybe one day. Sushi under the the shade of the trees in japan with the two best children in the world was pretty darn good. The sushi was pretty good the rice bowl my daughter had was a bit dry. The kids loved the arcobats in japan, as well as the gardens. They still are talking about the age of ther trees. We also enjoyed the singers in America and everything Mexico. Other then that, we just strolled around, they are still a bit young to appreciate it all. Hit the fountains again. Finally got to see the Crush show. Worth the 3rd try. Very funny. Dinner at the Coral Reef. I was more then a bit nervous about the food from reading on this site. I thought it worth the try since my 1st choice in japan was closed for renovations and I couldn't get an ADR @ Le Celliar. Waited too long with all the choice at Epcot. So don't be like me make sure you make ADR at your 1st choice in Epcot. Dinner turned out to be really good. Kevin ordered the mahi mahi for kids and loved it. Kyla ordered the mac and cheese. I had the shrimp/pasta dish. Lobster soup was amazing. My son doesn't like soup but decided to try it because it had loster in the name. He licked the bowl!! LOL! They loved the make your sundae dessert. I should have asked for it. Wasn't at all thrilled with any of the deserts on the menus. We found a great place to watch the fireworks about 30 minutes before the show. Just before the entrance to Mexico. We didn't have too far to walk after illuminations. The show was as it always is stirring and exciting.
Hope this was enjoyable. Hope it makes you look forward to your trip and there wil be more to follow.

I hope you come back and let us know how the rest of your vacaton went.
