Well, I just had to let all of you know that DCL really came through for us. When I rebooked my Sept. 5 to Sept. 12 due to the hurricane they charged us $409 for the difference in price. I was not really happy but I did it. Many things were screwed up at the port but they upgraded us up from a 12 to a 9. That was really nice. Had a really nice trip (but missed CC). My TA emailed DCL to say that we were unhappy to pay the $409 as we could have gotten a full refund and taken our money somewhere else. Well, today I got back the $409 and 25%. I am really proud of DCL for doing the right thing. I was really nice during the entire situation and found that they were even more helpful. Other people on the cruise were pretty mad that we were not going to CC and took it out on the CM's at GS. I guess I killed with kindness. Anyhow- because of this experience I will sail with DCL again. Thank you DCL and good luck to the many others that are looking at getting a refund.
