Then why have a sneezed a gazillion times today????

I promise I have sneezed at least 50 times this morning and its supposed to be LOW POLLEN in the air.

Uggghhh I'm ready for WINTER!!!!

Maybe you're allergic to something else besides pollen.

mold
pet dander ( I deny it too)
etc.

what is all that yellow stuff all over the place .....cars.....driveways ....you name it and it is here.......geesh......

the painful sinus headache I'm having!!!

You know Donna I've thought of that but it only happends this time of the year. Maybe pet dander is worse in the spring.

We have Cotton Wood Trees that look just like snow falling. I think that may have something to do with it too.

I have terrible allergies. I decided to get tested a couple of weeks ago.

Surprisingly I am not as allergic to pollen as I thought I was. I am, however, EXTREMELY allergic to a few types of mold, dust, and a bunch of trees. I have weird allergies lol. Cat hair was the worst, go figure, I could've told the allergist that before my arm blew up and turned red and itchy.

I'd suggets claritan or some other allergy medication and perhaps a nasal spray, depending on what is bothering you.

I've had Claritan mentioned to me before. I've never gone to the Drs. because of my allergies, just suffered through them....its only a day or two a week for a month or so

How did they test you??

Both sides of our driveway looks as though we have had about 3 inches of snow from the Cotton Wood Trees!

I heard on the radio at lunchtime that the pollen count here is 5. I think they miscalulated.

They poked 32 holes in my arms with these sharp plastic things each covered in something different, so that they would soak through the holes. They did them 8 at once, so its not like they sat there poking me 32 times! ;)

If you are allergic, they get red and itchy, just tiny little bumps. You have to sit there for like 10 min...the itching was driving me crazy! I didn't really enjoy the experience, but it wasn't terrible. The top right bump BLEW up to be HUGE and bright red...I turned to my dad and was like "thats cat...it has to be". It was.

It sounds worth it to me. If they said I was allergic to cat I would just have to stand it...LOL!

I knew they used to poke you but I didn't know if they had made it easier over the years. That was years ago.

Try standing it when your eyes itch so bad, then swell up, crust over so you can't open them, runny nose, itchy throat that closes up and triggers asthma attacks, and hives EVERYWHERE. And people wonder why I HATE cats (sorry to all you cat lovers...but they make me physically sick, and I never did anything to them, lol).

The test is not really bad like being poked with needles, it hardly even hurts.
