YEAH!!! Just got dinged for $29

I am sooooo excited!! I have been waiting for a couple of weeks for a ding from RDU to MCO. It finally came today. $29 each way!!!!!! I ended up getting 8 tickets for $599!! I am so happy NOT to be driving!! Hope someone else might be able to use this ding. It came in a few mins. ago.

What exactly is a ding? And how does one go about getting dinged (by Southwest. . . no innuendo intended.) Is this just for Southwest or do other airlines have equivalents?

Go to southwest.com and download their 'DING' software. Install on your cpu and whenever a sale comes up (practically every second day), you are notified through this p2p style program.

I get at least two dings a day, and sometimes three. Usually around 10am there is one on there that lasts until sometime in the afternoon and then again at about 4pm or so there is another one. I love those ding fares!!!

that ding is so awesome, at that price i would get an extra seat for the extra room-lol
