and have sent out all my Christmas cards and parcels. I'm just about done my Christmas shopping - just waiting for the snow to stop falling so I can get to town. Then finish decorating the house and wrap the gifts. Make a few meals ahead of time and freeze them for when the kids are visiting. Almost there.

Well I put up my tree, sent some cards, and wrapped one present. Well tecnically I didn't wrap it, my daughter did but I helped her. lol

I'm jealous!!

I have a bit of shopping left plus some assembling (I am making "baskets" for two of my friends). Then I have the wrapping. We decorated the inside of the house last weekend and the outside will be done this weekend.

For the first time, this year I am having a baking party the Sunday before Christmas, six of us are all gathering at my house to bake cookies and then exchange so I am only actually baking two types of cookies this year. Woopee!!

I am actually trying not to go grocery shopping (except for milk and bread) before Christmas week and try and finish everything in the freezer because I am having Christmas Eve dinner and the day after Christmas dinner at my house so I need lots of room in the fridge/freezer!

I just got the cards done this morning, the house is decorated and tree is up, about 75% of the shopping is done but haven't done any baking/candy making yet. That is for next week. I really don't plan to make much, just a couple of pumpkin rolls, fudge, peanut blossom and thumbprint cookies for sure. We'll see if I have any ambition left to make anything else. Haven't started wrapping gifts either, will do that next week too. Then hopefully the few days before Christmas all I will have to do is clean house and prepare food for Christmas Day.

Tree is up and decorated. I've done some of my baking. Still working on that! Still need to finish my cards and buy one gift. Then I have a few stocking stuffers to buy and I will be done. Oops I still have to wrap everything. Yikes!

Well I have a final today (at 130pm), and then I have to christmas shop! I have a few things done, but I still need to make a major target run. I have lots to get.

I get to go home a week from tomorrow, and then all of the baking, ect will happen then.

I've gotten most gifts.

- All still need to be wrapped (Tonight and Saturday afternoon)
- Shipping packages (Tomorrow and Monday)
- Food shopping and errands (Thursday morning)
- Packing for Disney! I can't believe it's almost time!

Not doing much baking, but whatever baking I do will be on Sunday and I'll freeze it.

We won't be arriving back from Disney until 9:00 p.m. or so Christmas eve, so EVERYTHING needs to be done b

We're still waiting for DD's DH to bring the tree and whatever else down from the attic..

I've been working on the cookie recipes, but DGD has to go over them with me and help make the final decisions so we can make a list of what we need.. Our "DGD/Grandma Christmas Cookie Baking Marathon" is scheduled for the weekend of the 19th.. (Prior commitments for everyone this weekend, so the following weekend is all that's left before Christmas..)

Wrapping will be done in bits and pieces - when "nosey" people aren't home.. They're bad in this house - really bad.. LOL..

Have to talk to DD's MIL to figure out what we're going to do for food on Christmas Eve..

Sounds like a lot, but we'll get it done.. We always do..
