DD just had her 4 yo check up and she is 40" with no shoes on! So I am sure that with her shoes we should have no probs with height requirements, right? She was so excited she told the nurse "Now I can go on Splash Mountain!"

And another thing, 2 shots and no tears to boot! My little girl is all grown up!:sad1:

wow my dd2.5 is 38 inch and I am hoping I have no prob with her getting in to WDW. because she is tall for her age?

Its fun when they get big enough for most of the rides :sunny:

Stahshee - we are going with a group and were just informed that anyone saying they were two had to bring a birth certificate - might be a good idea for you.

We have never been asked for proof of age. Actually none of the CM's have asked about ages. We just carry them through the turnstyles and go right in.

My ds (5) is small for his age. On our trip last July he just missed the 40" mark on some of the rides and passed on others. There was no rhyme or reason. He was able to go on Star Tours and Soaring and not able to ride Splash Mt. When he went for his check up in August he was 40 1/2". When we went in January I actually brought his little check up book with his height signed by the pediatrician but I never had to use it because he finally passed on Splash Mt.

After he rode it for the first time he told me his dream had come true. He is a real Disney nut. Just like his mom.

:rotfl2: I was going to copy the paper from the Dr to daycare with her height on it in case we had probs! And I thought that was such a crazy idea that I didn't put it in my post!!! Glad to know that I am not alone in my thinking! :bounce:

I am so happy for you and your daughter. I hope she injoys all the big kid rides. We are in the 39 inch mark but not quite there yet. Maybe by May.

Congrats!!! I'm praying this happens with my DD. She'll be 4 in October and we're leaving in November. Right now she's 39". I wonder if she can really grow 1" in a year? Your DD must be so excited!

If your kids are close - don't forget that you can try it at different times. Ds was 3 and about 39 - 391/2 inches when we went in Sept. With his sneakers on - it was a slight difference depending on how he was standing. The first Cm turned us away from SM - but we tried again a little later and he made the cut!

I'm so excited to read this because I am taking my son, who will be four pretty soon, in April and I just measured him this morning at 42". I had no idea what the height requirements were but I feel much relieved after reading these posts. Thanks.

That's great.

My DS is 3 1/2 and 38 1/4" with his shoes on... I suppose there is no hope of a HUGE growth spurt? LOL

Oh, well! There is plenty to entertain him without it! Surely, by next year, there will be no question. :teeth:
