YC w/ Kids?

We've stayed at BC with kids...but thought we'd try YC this time for a change. We're wild, you know!

Seriously though, do you think we'll feel out of place with an 8 yr old and 5 mos. old?

We stayed at the BC last time and are now trying the YC. Our Ds is 7. to tell you the truth , I don't think the kids care one way or the other about the actual hotel , but they do care about the pool! When we took Ds over to the YC for breakfast he LOVED the lobby-the big globe, the model ships,etc. Really, the Bc lobby just has patio furnniture -big deal. We just liked the feel of the YC more, so that's where we're staying.I don't think you will feel out of place at all-it's Disney!

It's my DD's favorite hotel next to Animal Kingdom. AK stole the number 1 slot for her after staying there 1 time.

Not at all.....we've stayed there several times with our kids, the place is LOADED with them!! We'll be there in October with our 7 year old and our 7 month old!!!

I hope not! We're going in Oct with 3 DSs, 10, 8, and 5. We haven't been there since our honeymoon--the kids love all the creatures they can find at POR. I think they'll love SAB.

We just came back from the YC with an 8 and 6 year old. We loved it! They loved it! It's beautiful, but not stuffy. There were lots of families with little kids staying there. We thought the rooms were wonderful - spacious and clean! We loved the area too, but you must love it too since you've already stayed at the BC.

My children have stayed there at the ages of 2, 3, & 4 as well as 15, 16 & 17. They love it no matter what age they are!

You will not feel out of place nor will your kids at YC. It is very child friendly. DS14 has been going there twice yearly since around age 6 and he would never stay anywhere else.

I am staying at the yacht club on my upcoming vacation *pokes counter*
I've stayed there before...I love it! The theming atmosphere everything about it CAPTAIN BOB!
It's one cool resort
you shouldn't feel out of place disney is for kids of all ages!
