Need some help from the YC experts.

Is there a difference between Garden View and Standard View?

Regarding standard view: Is the area near the lobby and wedding gazebo noisy since its near the lobby? How is the quiet pool area as i saw there are some standards there too?

Thanks fro your help!

I'm not sure, but aren't all Garden view rooms at the YC now concierge?

I think at one point in time there were three levels of rooms: standard, gardenview and waterview. However, now there is only standard and waterview, unless you want concierge which is gardenview or waterview.

The rooms by the wedding gazebo are mostly waterview. There are only about 3-4 rooms each floor that are standard and overlook the gazebo.

Most of your standard rooms overlook the front of the resort; entrance, parking area etc. There are also standard rooms on the side of the resort closer to the quiet pool area. Generally they are quiet, but remember the quiet pool is open all night. Last year our room overlooked the quiet pool and there was a group of late hour swimmers that did make some noise.

There are also some standard rooms that have a somewhat obstructed view of SAB.

You should go to the Y&BC forum within the resort boards. On page one there is a link to the floor plans of the YC and BC, which are color coded. You'll be able to tell what are standard and what are waterview. :):):)

Cindala,thanks for your help!
I had looked at the floor plans previously, and was wondering if they might be areas worth requesting.

awatt,
Glad to help! I would say the best area to request would be by the quiet pool area. It's a better view than the front of the resort, (which still isn't all that bad) and requesting one of the few rooms with a gazebo view would be very hard to get.:):):)
