YC or BW???

I'm torn, we love both, but unsure what is the better option this year. We are two adults, and will do lots of park time, but would take advantage of the pools during the heat of the day. We are coming early July. Anyone know the last time the Yacht Club rooms were refurbished? Which would you pick?

YC has the advantage of Storm along Bay Pool. YC is also a bit quieter that BW because it doesn't have the activity going on at BW.

The rooms at the YC were last done in 2017 and are scheduled for 2025 while the SAB pool is closed from Jan - June 2025. Do you like crowds at the pool if not I would vote for the BW. SAB can be quite busy and loud in the afternoon. The BW rooms were redone just last year.

I had this exact dilemma for our upcoming trip. YC wins due to the better food options.

YC is our number 1 choice but would consider BW pending on the timing of your stay. Per above, early 2025 may not be the best time to stay at YC.

We stayed at YC last week for a staycation. Stormalong Bay is magnificent and would easily tip me over BW. Add to that, the food at YC (I did some reviews under the Disney Restaurants section) is stellar.

If booking YC, I would absolutely upgrade to a water view room. I put pictures up in the dedicated forum of Yacht and Beach Club under the Disney Resorts section.

Unfortunately the only pass holder option was standard. I'll keep my eye out for one opening up.

YC solely for Stormalong bay, but if you gonna do a lot of Park time I would do BW… Both are great resorts in a great location
