YC or BC

We are thinking of changing our reservation from the Poly to either the YC or BC this July. We have stayed at the BC before and really liked it. The only thing we missed was somewhere to get breakfast. They only had coffe and danishes in the snack area, and Cape May Cafe is Character breakfast (can't do that everyday). Does the YC have a restraunt that serves breakfast?

Yes, the Yacht Club Galley serves breakfast.... both a la carte and a nice buffet. It is a pleasant breakfast place. But Kona is lots better!

Look at my sign-on name. I love the YC! It's a beautiful resort, very relaxing and absolutely top notch. They have the YC Galley and also have pastries and coffee available in the lobby. Then there's the concierge floor that's worth every penny IMHO. I'd choose YC!!

Have stayed at both and really like both. The Galley at the YC is a nice place for breakfast. Our favorite resort right now is The Boardwalk and that has the bakery - just a thought!

Yes, BWBAkery is awesome and Spoodles is good for a sit down breakfast too. At the bakery you can get a couple of hot things, I seem to remember a breakfast burrito.

We prefer the YC over the BC also but they are both great places to stay.

The Yacht Club is usually quieter and most rooms have their own balcony. The Yacht Club Galley is truly one of Walt Disney World's hidden gems. They have an excellent breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Enjoy!

We enjoy both the YC & BC but actually prefer the YC. We feel it is quieter than the BC & we just like the decor a little more. The Yacht Club Galley is a nice place for breakfast. Even if you stay at the BC you can walk right over to the YC Galley for breakfast though.

I stayed at the YC and really enjoyed it. The only reason I didn't choose BC at the time was because it had not been renovated yet and the lobby smelled mildewy to me at the time. It has been renovated since I visited and the pictures of the rooms at BC look quite lovely. I think it depends on what your preference is for decor, room location, theming, etc.
