First, to allay your concerns, we were just at beach club, and all seemed nice/clean, and other guests at both yc and bc seemed happy (while we were there, there was a slight issue with water/dampness in two first floor bc rooms due to a leaky pipe/tub, which were then vacated and all guests moved to other rooms while disney attacked issue with a vengeance). So yes, at any given time, there can be some limited dampness in a few rooms due to engineering issues, etc (like any large hotel), and it may take a bit longer to clean up/dry out due to florida humidity, but disney tries to ensure such issues are theirs, not yours. And the hallway never seemed musty, and our room was pretty close to the problem rooms, and we noticed nothing, despite my wife generally being a bit "touchy" and I have a mild mold and mildew allergy, so if there was an issue, we would have been the first to know. However, regarding tripadvisor generally, while I actually think it is generally helpful to give some advice, one of its key "weak spots" (in my opinion) is disney - the reviews are often written by business/frequent travellers, who expect a certain level of amenity for the admittedly very high prices charged by disney for hotels, particularly when compared to offsite orlando hotel rooms. For better or for worse, much of the price of an onsite disney room is for the "magic", including proximity to parks, convenience, etc, but a typical tripadvisor reviewer is simply comparing a club level yacht club room to a suite at ritz or Mandarin or even four seasons, which have similar prices, and for pure hotel amenities, luxuriousness of room itself, etc, probably does fall short of expectations.
